The farmer’s market favorite has opened the doors or at least the delivery window to its first brick & mortar location. The take-out only window is the ideal size to slip out a container of Kedai's signature fried rice dish, Nasi Goreng. It's served with your choice of tofu and sprouts or roast pork, and topped with a runny egg. Pop by post pub-crawl to take advantage of it’s 230 am closing time Thurs-Sat.

Such a flavorful addition to this savory street on Cap Hill, right next door to Montana Bar. Order a kick-booty Moscow Mule in the bar, made with Rachel's Brilliant Ginger Beer, and step outside to place an order at this walk-up window, which got its start at a farmers market in Columbia City. I'm a big fan of everything on the short menu, especially the veggie-centric rice bowls, the fiery noodles and the slurp-y soup. Open late, closed on Tuesdays.

Malaysian bites served fresh to order out of a take-out window on Capitol Hill. The wait can be long but not to worry since you can wait for your order and even enjoy your meal w/ a brew in the neighbouring Montana.
