Pilates ReformerThe reformer is the ideal medium to isolate every aspect of your body. We will move from the front of the reformer to the back while working each muscle group. We offer diversified classes for beginners & the most experienced exercise fanatics. All ages are welcome in our fitness studio (there are some class exceptions for those younger than 18). We have dedicated the entire front studio to our custom made, state-of-the-art Pilates Reformer machines, well, because they’re beautiful, effective, & unique. Our custom frames are made of sustainably harvested maple, an artful alternative to the traditional Reformer. Come & see for yourself!

Power ReformerOur signature class! A total body fusion class charged for power. This session will incorporate hybrid principles of Pilates to work your intrinsic muscles, combined w/ circuit training techniques to fire your extrinsic muscles. We move at a brisk pace to achieve cardiovascular endurance & stamina. Be prepared to sweat. This high-energy class will work multiple muscles at a time as well as challenges your balance & flexibility. LAB Alert! Dumbbells & our unique Jump board may be incorporated in our signature LAB5 Power Reformer class for a more hybrid & PlyoMetric Training (training designed to produce fast, powerful movements, & improve the functions of the nervous system, generally for the purpose of improving performance). Purist ReformerA classical & traditional approach to Pilates, the way it was intended on the reformer. Focusing on the art of corrective alignment to rejuvenate or improve our spine & to strengthen your core, incorporate coordination w/ mind, body, & spirit. You will focus on posture, body mechanics, correct breathing, spinal flexibility, & physical education
TLC ReformerTender - loving - care reformer hybrid pilates class. This specialty class intends to increase or maintain flexibility, range of motion & reduce pain. This is an excellent transition after many types of rehabilitations, a long sabbatical or vacation & maybe even an opportunity to get back into the swing of things. This class is an excellent introduction to the LAB5 reformer machine & a great compliment to your regular LAB5 routine. The words maintenance & prevention are perfect descriptors for this class. For you will promote fluidity, ease in movement & learn methods for proper alignment & posture. Come experience a lifestyle education course & develop techniques that will be amazing for your mind & body awareness. LAB Alert! All fitness levels are encouraged to attend. Boomer ReformerThis class is reserved for our more matured members, like a fine wine, our depth & body changes w/ time. You will also be in good company; no 20-somethings allowed. LAB5 Power Yoga FlowLAB5 power yoga flow classes take the basic yoga postures & link them through breath, movement & music for an amazing physical & uplifting practice. This class encourages balance, gratitude, & strength to aid in opening areas where release is needed while combining movement matched w/ the breath. The flow class builds heat in the body & opening occurs due to repetition of postures within a flowing sequence. These classes are perfect for those who like their yoga practice to feel like a dance. Over time, movement in the sequence becomes more fluid, the mind is able to relax & the practice becomes a moving meditation. Come flow w/ us, LAB5 style. Please bring water, towel & a smile. Yoga MixThis class is an exploration of yoga poses & how to connect them through attention to breathing, alignment & mindfulness. This is an energetic & fun variety workout using various yoga practice components, including: basic yoga postures, dynamic flow, balances & relaxation. Therapeutic in nature, you will learn techniques to help you gain flexibility, while immersing yourself in a relaxing class that moves at a perfect “All Levels” pace allowing ample time to enjoy each pose, modifications will always be offered. Stretch & FormNot a yoga class but a class based on a dancers stretch routine that will teach you amazing form. You will develop flexibility & mobility while using various approaches to increase range of motion, relieve muscle tension, reduce the risk of injury, & allow greater freedom in all areas of the body. This is a class designed to increase flexibility as well as improve body alignment w/ slow & steady stretching. Space is limited to 15 LAB5 community members

Lab5 TrxThis is a full body workout delivered through suspension training equipment from TRX developed by a Navy Seal & offers the ability to utilize the core through functional movements. It is a perfect mix of cardiovascular conditioning & strength training all in one great class. The class may introduce the Tabata style of highly effective interval training developed by a team of researchers from Japan, a truly amazing option. The format incorporates short burst of intense effort for 20 seconds followed by a 10 second rest period. Tabata interval training will use a variety of equipment & variations so you never get bored. LAB5 TRX will push each participant to a higher level of physical fitness in a fun & safe environment, the LAB5 way
TRX/BarreThis 2-in-1 class will kick your behind into high-gear. Prepare for a full-body workout that is high energy & fast paced. Barre BalletOur LAB5 ballet adheres to the traditional ballet techniques. This classically styled format will include both slow exercises to stretch & warm up muscles as well as fast exercises that help to strengthen muscles, develop technique & form. Each ballet barre exercise has a specific purpose, such as strengthening feet, increasing extension, improving flexibility, & refining your balance. Proper form is emphasized to target specific muscles that tone your abdominals while lengthening & strengthening your arms, legs & back. This class is low-impact, open to all levels & is a great place to start at the LAB. (*No dance experience is required)
BarreThis class blends together the best of: ballet, yoga, pilates, & core conditioning & body sculpting. Get a complete body workout through a high energy & low impact class that tones your muscles w/ isolated movements, isometric exercises, orthopedic stretches & light weights complimented by a continual fat burning process. This class tones your seat, abdominals, thighs, arms as well as strengthens your legs, back & improves your posture. You will use our own body weight for resistance targeting each of your muscle groups to the point of fatigue. Then, you will stretch those muscles in a way that promotes long & lean muscle growth developing a sleek micro-targeted ballet body for a long & lean physique. Aerial Condition
LAB5 AerialGather, engage, dangle, release & suspend! In this class you will use a low-flying, soft fabric sling to support your body as you explore yoga postures & Pilates’ principles on the floor, in the air & the spaces in between. This conditioning class will strengthen your core & upper body also you will learn how to cultivate balance to find your full range of movement w/ guided support. Emphasis is placed on awareness of breath, dynamic alignment & efficiency as a source of power. Embrace gravity while defying it simultaneously!
