Burger Express is a place my dad has been taking me to ever since i was a kid. I always get the bacon burger and i have NEVER been disappointed. They make them to order and it is the best burger i have ever had. I strongly recommend this restaurant!

One of the Best Burgers Joints in the County

This is my first review and I couldn't think of a better place to give high praise to. I love a great burger and I can honestly say that Burger Express is one of the best places I've ever been to. The burgers are great and have a juicy texture to them. All burgers come with fries and even the single basket burgers are bigger than most deluxe burgers out there. The fries are my favorite texture, not too soft but not soggy either. And the shakes, OMGosh. I drive from Seattle twice a month just to cop a large Strawberry shake and it is worth every drop of gas. I recomend the Western Burger with the BBQ sauce and onion ring on top. The prices are reasonable, the service is good, and the interior reminds me of a cross of Arnold's from "Happy Days" with the vintage jukebox and bench seats and my grandfather's basement. Gives it a nice "lived in" look. I think that adds to the atmosphere and you know you're getting great food at a good price. I wish they could open a place in Seattle, but until then, I'll make the trek to Federal Way.

Very good burger

Having tried many burgers in the Seattle area, I'm usually disappointed by what I find. A year or two ago, my wide search area for a better burger took me all the way to Federal Way to try Burger Express, and what a pleasant surprise it was. The burgers here are juicy and have good flavor. They taste like the owners actually care about making a good burger. Even though I live many miles away, I do make the drive to Burger Express when I get tired of the burger mediocrity that I normally find in the Seattle area. The french fries are made from scratch, though, I suspect they are single-fried. So, don't expect the golden and crispy double-fry type of french fry... but, the flavor is good and their seasoned nicely.

• Cons: I wish they were closer to me :-)

Yummy in my Tummy

I love Federal Way's Burger Express. I'm from TX, self-proclaimed burger expert. Burger Express burgers/sandwiches beat out my favorite burger stand back home, bringing a genuine old style burger to the table. Buns are grilled, patty is done right, and the fries are great. The service is always great. I don't recommend the Fried Mushrooms though.

I always wondered why Burger Express was never mentioned in your reviews. Hamburgers are not on my list of approved foods but when I decide to ignore that list I always go to Burger Express. Now my great grand daughter is joining me and shares my views, they are superb. Finally, Federal Way has a claim to fame.

WORTH A SPECIAL TRIP FROM BELLEVUE

Burger Express has the best burgers I've ever eaten (except for homemade, grilled-out ones of course..but a very close second)! The Buffalo Burgers are absolutely indulgence! We've made a special trip all the way from Bellevue just to eat there.The atmosphere, although not very fancy, fits the type of food served. It's like going on a picnic. Many times, though, we order it to go and drive over to the Sound, find a good view and then just sit there and enjoy every bite!

Oh, get lots of napkins! :o)

Best Burgers

This place has the best of the old fashioned fat, greasy, yummy, hamburgers and cheeseburgers around. The fries that come with it are great but think about substituting onion rings for them. They are really good!

We recently moved from California enjoying IN & OUT Burger. In search of a good burger place, we stumbled onto Burger Express. What an awesome (if not better) comparison. The service inside the restaurant, as well as the drive-thru is friendly and timely. Their prices are reasonable and their serving sizes are perfect. I've recommended several people to stop by and indulge in the experience! Keep up the great work Burger Express!!!

What can I say, if you want to try THE best tasting old fashion burgers you've got to try this place.And don't forget to also try their many real fruit shakes.(bkackberry is my favorite)
