Racist. Worst experience in any store ever in USA was at Hartmanns Tailoring. I ordered a fabric a week ago. From the first day the owner of the store was not friendly. He was sarcastic and judging me all the time. He said the fabric have to be shipped from Newyork and he have to order it. I paid deposit and Today morning I went to pick up. First off he did not ordered the fabric that I asked for. He ordered a lower quality product. When I asked about it, he started shouting at me. At some point he said people of other Nationality give him trouble all the time(I am an immigrant). Also he mentioned my country name and said that "This is not <countryname> to do businness like this" I felt really embarrased.

In any country, a customer will question if he is not getting the product he asked for....

I paid almost $1000 for the fabric and I was treated so mean. First time ever in this country I felt RACISM.

When I said this is not the way you can talk to a customer with the mistake on your side, for which he said "Yes I do and this is ridiculous"...

Seriosly... I never wanted to go even near that shop anymore.... I felt soo helpless for the first time in this country with such harsh language towards my nationality and myself..…

THE BEST TAILOR ANYWHERE!. I love this place, you walk in and it feels like a fine mens clothing store. There are so many wonderful fabrics to choose from. Outstanding tailoring at competitive prices. I work out quite a bit and with my athletic build it's always a challenge to find clothes that fit well. I recently got married. Unfortunately, I didn't much think about what I was going to wear until a few weeks prior to the wedding. I figured I'd just go to the store and buy something off the rack. But when I went to Men's Wearhouse and Nieman Marcus none of the suits I tried on impressed me that much. The ones that did were upwards for $3000 and still didn't fit all that well.

On a tip from a salesman at Men's Wearhouse, I went to Hartmann's. At first, I found Siegfried's demeanor a little intimidating--this is the only way I can understand the one star review someone else posted. When I brought my fiancee in with me, however, he seemed to soften up and we joked around while he took measurements and we picked out the style and fabric for the suit. Normally. he told us he could not do a suit in only three weeks, but because it was a special event he was nice enough to do so. When I came back a few weeks later, he made some final alterations until it fit perfectly. I have never seen a nicer suit. It makes the designer suits (including Armani and Emenegildo Zegna) I tried on at Nieman Marcus look cheap by comparison...and at half the price. It fits absolutely perfectly and is very comfortable.

I couldn't be happier with the work Siegfried did. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a *great* suit. Sure, it ends up being a bit more expensive than the cheap stuff at Men's Wearhouse, but it's a downright steal next to a designer label suit. A great suit is something you can use for years and years and I don't think you'll find a better one than you will here.…
