I have had my hair cut and airwaved by JULIA several times. Each time it was perfect, and I received several compliments on the way it was styled. I think she is new to the salon, but she was excellent - professional, listened to what I wanted and delivered a really great look.

I recently relocated to Seattle from New York and was looking for a good hair stylist for Japanese Thermal care. I heard about Geena from my co-worker. So I went to her and she was really great as I heard! Not only she has a great skills - it was one of the best Japanese Thermal i had, she was also very friendly and honest. I really enjoyed 2 hours of my hair done with her. Two thums up for Geena!
Pros: Service Style Friendliness

Last Saturday I had the complete works done by Jenny, and it is be best investment I've made in my appearance in a very long time. Jenny suggested a trendy hair style that turned out perfect. My full color and foil are the best also. I have never had as many compliments as I have had since Saturday. Jenny is truly an artist, and I recommend her highly. Mary.

My hair was in desperate need of a cut and a foil ( I had not seen my stylist for over 5 months-she moved out of state). I set up an appointment with Jenny at Salon Rubio, she greeted me when I walked in the door. After talking about what we were going to do, she got to work on my hair, which was no easy task! She was very detail oriented and did not rush. My hair color looks amazing! My haircut is exactly what I asked for. I would recommend Jenny to anyone who wants thier hair to look fabulous. -S. Drake
Pros: Easy parking, great location

I've been bouncing around from stylist to stylist for the last year and have finally found someone worth going back to. I received a recommendation from a friend to visit Geena at Salon Rubio and she did a great job on my first visit . She was very courteous, professional, and made sure I was comfortable. I am one of those people that doesn't know what to do with my hair but this wasn't any trouble for her and the result was great. I decided to go back to her and once again her service and style were top notch. She remembered me from my first visit and knew exactly what needed to be done. Belleuve is a little out of the way for me but I think it is worth it. I recommend going to Salon Rubio and asking for Geena.
Pros: friendly atmosphere, great service, professional, easy parking

I just moved to Bellevue from San Diego and needed to find a place to get my hair highlighted and cut. I am always quite concerned about the color being right. I found Salon Rubio on citysearch and made an appointment. I got a pedicure from Christine and really enjoyed it. She is very caring and professional and I will be back for more services from her in the future. Amy did my color/cut and blowdry and she did a fabulous job. I got exactly what I wanted which is natural looking blond highlights and a trim. She cut my bangs perfectly and blew out my long hair just like I would have done myself; you know how often you feel you need to go home and restyle it??? Not with Amy, she was great and friendly and the price was not terrible either! Thanks Amy! :)
Pros: easy parking and relatively quiet relaxing environment
Cons: none

Having just moved to Washington, I feel so lucky to have found a great hairdresser on my first attempt. I've gone years in the past before finding someone I trust in a new place. I knew I wanted subtle highlights and a decent cut, but I've never been very good at telling someone just how I want my hair, and often end up disappointed. Dennice did a great job, and I loved both the highlights and the cut! I'll definitely be going back to her. Christine <sp?> gave me a great manicure, and of all the manicures I've had done and the many places I've tried, her hand massage was the best. She also took great care with my nails and gave me tips on how to make the manicure last through a dinner party I was going to later in the week. I'm looking forward to my next visit! Parking is free down below in the University Bookstore parking garage. Look for the stairs leading up to the opposite side of the garage from where the bookstore is, and you'll emerge right next door to the salon. Very convenient!
Pros: I got exactly what I wanted for both hair and nails.
Cons: On the pricey side ($154 for manicure, cut, and partial highlights on shoulder length hair before tip,) hair-washing sink less comfortable than some.

Being a man with thick and longer hair is not easy to get what you want when it comes to a haircut. I have been going to Salon Rubio since they opened last year in '06. I love the haircut I get everytime. I have tried a couple of people there and they all do a great job. They even rinse my hair off after they cut it so that I don't have the itchy little hairs all over that they cut off. I give this salon all 5 stars!!!!
Pros: safe parking garage and fun atmosphere
Cons: none

I have had many Microcurrent Treatments at other places and was never as satisfied as I was today after my treatment with Tonja at Salon Rubio. They had an introductory offer for anyone's first time, so I figured I would give it a shot at their salon. I could not believe the outcome. When Tonja treated the first half of my face, then held a mirror up for me to view, I could not believe the difference. The left side of my face was lifted with less worry lines around my eyes and mouth then the right side had. My eyebrow was higher also. After she did the other side of my face, I could not believe how great my skin and face felt and looked. I ended up buying a package.
Pros: Very relaxing and have a great touch
Cons: Wish I could have stayed all day long
