Great food, too bad it's CLOSED
by zot79 at Citysearch
Chili's was always one of the first two places on our list for a tasty treat of a meal. We were stunned to walk by and discovered the Bellevue (and all Western Washington locations) had been completely closed. :(
Families and an after-work crowd come to this relaxed Tex-Mex chain for sizzling fajitas and a buzzing bar scene.

In Short
Festive decor of colorfully tiled tables, vintage photographs and sunny Southwestern accents welcomes an all-ages crowd at this informal hangout. Youngsters and their parents pile into dining room booths; casual business types toss back margaritas and watch televised sports at the bar. The menu features mild versions of Lone Star state favorites, from double-basted baby back ribs and steak fajitas to red-beef chili and deep-fried onions.
Didn't even buss the table....

We were seated promptly but the table they gave us had the old customer's drinks and bills. Ofcourse the host took that away. Since the table wasn't buss it was sticky to my wrist and the seats had crumbs. After our meal the server gave us the bill right away, and didn't give us a chance to order dessert or mention it cause it looked like the server was in a hurry to get us out. So this was our first time there. We decided next time we'd rather go to Applebees in Southcenter than drive all the way to Bellevue and get bad service.
- Pros: Parking
- Cons: Service, not clean
My Favorite Restaurant!
by seattle_lite at Citysearch
Chili's is my favorite restaurant! I've never been disappointed with the food or the service. They have a nice variety of foods and drinks- and I've never had to wait very long to get a table. I heart Chili's! They should build one closer to Seattle- that's for sure!
- Pros: Food is excellent!!
- Cons: The closest one to Seattle is in Bellevue :-(
Never Got Disappointed
by kaeru at Citysearch
This is my favorite place to eat. Their food is always very good and their margarita is just so tasty! (my favorite is strawberry margarita). Most of the time I order cajun chicken pasta but even when I try something else, I never get disappointed. All the appetizers are pretty good too (especially the southwestern eggrolls). The last not the least, their service is also great. The waiting person is always friendly and cheerful.
- Pros: good value, tasty food & desert, great margarita
- Cons: just a little noisy
Unexpected Delight
by lamipa at Citysearch
I've been to Chili's a few times before and have never been overly impressed. My dinner partner had never been before, so we decided to give it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised! The service was excellent! We were seated promptly, on Friday night no less. Our server was with us immediately and was very attentive throughout the whole meal. The food was delicious, as were the drinks. I do think that there could be more choices on the menu though. However, the mixed drink list is quite extensive. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I will definitely go back.
- Pros: Excellent service, Yummy Food, Mixed drink selection
- Cons: Slightly limited menu, A little noisy
Overrated, but tasty.

I assume the people who flock to Chili's night after night, waiting in line for 20-30 minutes for some better-than-average chain food, just haven't opened their eyes to all the nearby places that have better food, faster service, and no wait. But once you get in, the service is good, and the food is tasty, if unoriginal. The drinks are big, the appetizers have some interesting high points (try the southwester egg rolls), and there are a lot of options for dinner. Barbecue, burgers, fajitas, or plain old chicken strips for the less adventurous.
- Pros: mixed drinks, good service
- Cons: lines at lunch/dinner, parking
