I have been a member for nearly 2 years, and observed the gym go through many, many changes, mostly improvements. It still offers some of the best equipment anywhere, is always clean, has long hours, and is still a fairly good value. However... Overcrowded peak periods are becoming worse and worse. I have noticed a distinct sense of non-caring toward suggestions and requests... I work out early morning, between 5 -8am, like most normal gym goers for the physical aspect, being fit and staying healthy. I find it frustrating that I can't get on one of the treadmills, because some girl is on it pretending to get a cardio workout while twirling her hair and gossiping with their 'work out partner!' Quite frankly- I think of it as a three ring circus! And not have to stand around waiting for little miss nails to get done using the bench with her 2 lb Barbie chrome dumbbells… There is nothing worse than getting a good groove with some heavy weight then having to wait for some chick to get done using the bench as a stair stepper or the guy doing biceps in the only squats rackn, do have to say that I love the staff though- they are great, and the plasma TVs are a plus- too bad it doesn't make up for the frat party that is going on around me- but it does make you want to work out hard and quick, you have too to keep your sanity! But if you still want to go because it's convenient-its ok. Oh the bathroom its really small and the sauna REALLY, REALLY small, maybe 2 people inside.
Pros: Clean, lots of parking, lots of equipment
Cons: Crazy people in the morning...

A candy store of equipment leads to never a dull workout... assuming you have a sense or adventure. The owners of Bothell and Redmond Golds have seperated themselves among their franchise brethren. Details to a clean (I heard one of the partners owns a cleaning service) environment along with new equipment and a sea of cardio equipment with flat screens (aha... your choice of channels to watch) keeps their members happy. These guys "get it!"
