Our neighborhood favorite

Thai Kitchen is our friendly local thai restaurant (we live just up the street), and I can't say enough about the food. Delicious, fresh ingredients and high-quality recipes make for an enjoyable dining experience. Friendly, helpful staff round out the equation (although I must admit, we usually order take-out--at least once a week!).
- Pros: Great food, Good value, Fast service
One of the best!

I first went here, not expecting much, just because I lived nearby. What a surprise! The food is great. Everyone who I have brought here has loved it (including people who grew up eating homemade Thai food). Definitely don't skip the mango and sticky rice dessert! It's the best!
- Pros: great food
way below average

I've eaten at several dozen Thai restaurants around the Seattle area, and most of them are pretty good. In fact, it takes a terrible experience to get a bad review out of me. But here goes: the wait staff was curt and uninterested. The lemongrass soup consisted almost exclusively of mushrooms (not my top favorite veggie) and a few mushy chunks of tofu, nothing else. The spicy green bean dish was actually a peanut sauce. We double-checked the menu and it said nothing about being peanuty. It was take out so I couldn't complain. Finally, the panang curry, which I adore almost everywhere, was bland and tasted kind of metallic. I don't know what it takes to make panang curry bland, but it made me lose hope in their other curries. To be fair, the spring rolls weren't bad. I live in Lake Forest Park and there's very little Thai around here, or Kenmore, or Mountlake Terrace, so I'm trying to save you a little time if you live there.
- Pros: spring rolls
- Cons: just about everything else

So-So

I wasn't particularly impressed, nor was I particularly disappointed by this Thai restaurant. Prices were decent and the food was a little above average in quality. You get a good deal of food with the lunch combos.
