I have been to several couture bridal shops in Seattle and on the Eastside. I made an appointment with a friend of mine (who is also getting married) so we could try on some dresses at the same time. She arrived before I did. I waived at her when I came into the store and then I was told to immediately start picking out dresses and rushed back to a dressing room. By the time I had a moment to escape my friend had left. Turns out the sales people had told her "not to bother me" and to "leave me alone" when she had asked to come over to me and say hi and show me a dress she really liked. The staff never even bothered to ask if I would mind being interrupted. My friend tried to tell them we had scheduled the appointment together on purpose, they still would not show her where I was. They only let her try on 4 dresses and then told her the appointment was over they were about to rush me out of there after only three or four dresses but luckily my Mom and friends were hunting the racks for styles I might like. The dress selection was very poor compared to most shops. If you want unwarranted snobbery and, frankly, a very lacking selection of gowns try this spot. Otherwise, I recommend Marcella's La Boutique in Seattle. They carry better dresses and the staff is so awesome!
Pros: Easy Location
Cons: Poor service and eastside snobbery at its worst.

I went to the Bridal Garden to try on a specific designer I love. They were so helpful and I was never rushed and had no pressure to have to make a decision right then and there. They even told me about the upcoming trunk show of the designer so I could see more dress options. I found the perfect dress that I love. Mary was so helpful in showing me different veils and options for my total look. Everyone I interacted with and talked to was very helpful and friendly. I recommend the Bridal Garden to everyone I know!
Pros: Friendly, Helpful

I had a wonderful experience at the Bridal Garden! The staff are extremely friendly and do whatever possible to make you feel comfortable while you're trying on your dresses. The atmosphere is very low-key, warm, and supportive. Their selection is excellent. It was the first place I looked for a dress and no other bridal shop really compared to the Bridal Garden. While I loved their selection because of the beautiful style and tasteful elegance of all the dresses, I do have to admit they didn't have a huge variety of styles. If you plan to go, definitely ask to work with Mary, who is fabulous!
Pros: Bridal gown selection, low-key supportive atmosphere
Cons: poor selection of bridesmaids dresses

The Bridal Garden called the day of to cancel my appointment because the shop was going to close early due to weather. I called three other bridal salons in the area and none of them were closing early. I was very dissapointed by the lack respect for clients time and efforts.

When I was married the Bridal Garden was one of the first places I looked for my dress. They have a great selection of high quality dresses. The staff was so nice - they never pressured me to pick a dress or buy additional items from them. I would highly recommend the Bridal Garden!

I was recently a bridesmaid in a wedding and the bride chose dresses from the Bridal Garden. We all received different levels of POOR customer service, lack of call backs, the bride was frustrated and stressed and we never received an apology. I am engaged and was looking forward to trying dresses on at the Bridal Garden, I wouldn't buy anything there now. Unless you want added stress to your wedding planning I highly recommend staying away from The Bridal Garden.
