Doug's deserves at least 6 stars! I discovered Doug's 8 years ago when I lived and worked in Kirkland. When I moved to Shoreline 4 years ago, I had to find a new dentist, doctor, veterinarian, etc... But I refused to even look for a new auto repair shop. I'm convinced that there aren't any better, so the trip is well worth it for me. - Quality - Second to none. I've never had an issue with the quality of work. - Trustworthy - I don't have a great deal of knowledge about auto service. I feel that I'm completely vulnerable, so it is important that I'm able to trust my mechanic. In Doug, Josh and their team, I rest assured that they are giving me the best service at the fairest price. Advisory - When my old car (and my wife's) started to get up there in years (and miles), I used Doug as an adviser on those car life decisions. He always gave sound advice...and I always felt that I was making very wise decisions. Whenever I meet someone who lives on the east side, rather than recommend restaurants or coffee shops, I recommend Doug's.

I have been taking my cars to Doug's for several years now. I swear by them. Their service and attention is second to none. I have had several cars over time and since living here in the Northwest, Doug's is the only place I use to repair and maintain my cars. Doug and Josh, father and son, are local guys and are just great guys. The business is a family owned one and the care and concern that is shown in all workmanship is reflected from the time you talk to them on the phone to the last minute you leave their place with your car. Estimates are fair and accurate. If there is an additional issue with the car's maintenance, you are given a call and whatever the issue is an understandable explanation is forthcoming. No tricks and fanfares here. Honest, down home quality service is the rule of thumb!
Pros: Fairness.
Cons: This shop is busy, parking can be tight!

My favorite part about Doug's Auto Tune is that it is a family operation with a personal appeal. The crew is honest and understands your situations. They ease frustration through friendly, straight forward information. These people will go the extra mile for you-especially that Bruce Hawes-what a hard worker! All of them are helpful and personalize your service with a smile and YOUR name!
Pros: Friendly, kind employees
Cons: Ambience-its a car repair shop, not fine dining!

I wouldn't take my vehicle to anybody other than Doug's. I know the owner and his family personally, and Doug's expertise and ethics are absolutely the highest. They are fair in their approach to estimating your bill, are honest and above reproach. I have never had to take my vehicle back because it wasn't done right the first time. The best!
