I bought 2 scooters on 5/25/2008 the sale price out the door was $2099.99 somehow I paid $2790.50 each
for a loss of About. $1200.00. I went back, talked with the manager, who rudely told me to get lost, I stood in front of the stoe on the sidewalk with a sign that said, MOTOPLEX IS A RIPOFF. Ther was still no reaction.
Do Not buy anything from Motoplex.
- Pros: nice scooters
- Cons: buy one somewere else.

Won't buy anywhere else

I bought my 2001 yzf from here and had great experience . I went back for all my services and never had a problem . Had one issue with a small oil leak and they replaced the valve gasket free of charge to me . When i brought it in for oil changes they go over the whole bike and alert me to any issues or things that will need to be replaced in the future . They have a killer deal on dunlop tires and still have it to this day years later . Motorcycle dealerships are not like car lots where they jack up the price and then cut thousands off the listed price to make you think you're getting a deal when you aren't ! Motorcycle dealerships don't really make alot off of sales so you get anything off the listed it is a good deal. The others that gave reviews on here most likely go in for the first time and think they're going to get a bike for next to nothing . This isn't ebay brother . I'll be buying my second bike here and wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else for a yahama . You want to compare prices go down the street to cycle barn sorry i mean cycle ripoff and see the rude sales people there who don't even look at you twice when looking at bikes . You have to go up to them and ask questions then they act like they are doing you a favor because they took time from talking to other salesmen to give you the time of day. Motoplex rules !!
- Pros: Lots of bikes , Nice friendly salesmen
- Cons: none
OUTSTANDING SERVICE & AFTER THE SALE FOLLOW UP!!!
by 140
My experience has shown nothing but Lynnwood Motoplex being a FUN, HELPFUL dealership to buy my toys. I always experience after the sale followup & help with any warranty issues I may be experiencing. Ufortunately, consumer patience is sometimes needed as I know that any warranty issue can't be solved with the snap of a finger. Common sense!!! It has been my experience that All Dealerships, whether car or recreational, have to jump thru the FACTORY hoops. Lynnwood Motoplex does all they can to work with the factory to get whatever problem I may have expereiencing fixed. I have found that if I call my factory's customer service department this can help my dealership help me. Factory's need to hear from the consumer & this in turn I have found can often push my claim thru.
I am a repeat upon repeat customer & enjoy my before/after experiences with Lynnwood Motoplex!!!!!!!!!!
WARNING!!!!!! RIP OFF ARTISTS with NO HELP AFTER PURCHASE
by kansasrock
I spent over $12,000.00 on three motorcycles. First, they misled me during the purchase process. Secondly, I received NO help on the small problems I had within the first year. ANd when I tried to discuss their responsibilty to help me out, they were rude and hung up. A few of the problems I ran into with my Yamahas. The decals came off within the first three months. They would not even give me replacement decals. The Blaster 50 had bolts falling off and the fuel throttle stuck shut. No help on either of those problems. Brake levers broke off on both motorcycles within first three months, no help with parts on that either. There were other problems related to shoddy assembly. Lynnwood Motoplex is a rip-off....DO NOT LET YOURSELF BE THEIR NEXT VICTIM!!!!
- Pros: None
- Cons: Rip off sales, ZERO support after 12K spent
AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!
by jralea
This is THE place to buy your toys!!! My experience was exceptional!!! These people know their stuff & love riding/boating as much as the rest of us! I'm tired of pathetic whiners who think businesses can stay in business by giving the store away!!! Get over yourselves!
All businesses have overhead & have to turn a profit to meet them! I for one want my local Dealer to stay in business. Lynnwood Motoplex is awesome!!!
- Pros: Large Selection in a clean, fun atmosphere!
The worst! Exceptionally bad salesmen, rude, condescending, aggressive,
by mighty_mike
I went there to either replace my motorcycle or buy a 2nd motorcycle. They are the only local dealer for my first choice. I was told succintly to bring my bike in, title etc. I said, yeah, but I just want to test ride a bike before I decide. Nevertheless, I brought it all in, test rode a bike, was told my bike would be inspected as I tested, it wasn't. I was given an ultimatum, "Are you going to buy it or not?!" I said I wanted to think about it. I asked if I was wasting his time? He said "I just wanna know because I have another appointment!" He left me there. I had my bike, title, extra keys and $$$ cash for up to a $15,000 bike, ready to buy and ride off on the spot. I was so disappointed, I started to consider 2nd and 3rd choices for bike models and eventually buy something outside the state. Truly the worse dealer experience of my life....
- Pros: OK showroom
- Cons: Rude, aggressive, condescending
What a joke!
by mightypen
Horrible service! The only thing this guy was interested in was the sale. He nearly tricked me into signing a form by double talking the price. I asked for an out the door price, the quote he gave me was pre-tax/lic & setup. I had to keep reminding him to tell me the OTD price. He magically kept forgetting. He then got his sales manager to "seal the deal". The manager told me he didn't like giving me a deal but would do it to make the sale. Nice, eh? He was not coming down on his price at all. He too just neglected to give me an OTD price and kept trying to fool me into signing. I gave them a specific amount I was willing to pay. My offer was based their quote from 2 weeks before. They called me a liar. :(
- Pros: They have bikes.
- Cons: unacceptable pressure, Expensive, Rude
