Half-Price Books is a great place to shop. I could spend hours in there browsing for books. I refuse to pay full price for books, so a place like this is perfect for me.

Another option

They do buy books, music, software and games - but don't expect much for them unless they're a popular item. There's a wide variety - some sections are much bigger than others. Great place to find children's books and older fiction, etc. Most is in pretty good condition, lots like new. They get new things in so the variety changes.

• Cons: A bit crowded and hard to find some sections.
