There's a reason Merry Maids is cheaper than the other "above-board" cleaning services. Their staff was consistently late (by up to 45 minutes), cleaned haphazardly and gave me attitude when I asked them to touch things up. Management was unable to remedy our repeated complaints and didn't even reply when I notified them that we wouldn't be needing their services any longer. I finally fired them when I realized I was dreading "cleaning day" when I should have been wallowing in the indulgence. The Redmond office serves our area, so that's the only franchise I have worked with. The others in the area may be different.
Pros: It's affordable, insured and legal
Cons: They're late, they don't clean thoroughly and management doesn't care
