Really overpriced bad service!

Could not begin to communicate in the simplest of terms when discussing what I wanted. Just looked at me glassy eyed when I asked her the difference in length between the top and back. Asked her to cut my back last and she did it first. Asked her to leave it with a thick edge and she thinned it out. Had the nerve to charge me $10 above what she advertises on her web site, which is already a lot. Thinks she knows everything, but could not even discuss in layman?s terms the simplest of techniques.

Kathy at Kreativ Edge is a STAR

I have been searching all my life (and I'll be 58 this weekend!) for someone who can do what Kathy Martin was able to do for me. It was only 7 weeks ago that I went to Kathy for the first time after a referal from my friend and neighbor. I had been trying to get a new look for a few years now, but no one was able to GET IT RIGHT, or better put, "get ME!". Kathy did. First, by suggesting a slightly different cut than what I had originally thought would work (I had been doing online makeovers to see what shape/style might work for me)....because she understand the shape of my face, and what she did was absolutely perfect. In fact, so much so that I went back to see her again just yesterday for a trim (less time between a cut than usual for me)..... which, once again, was just gorgeous.

She also did my color for me....another thing I had been trying to explain to numerous other hairdressers over many years that I wanted. She got THAT right too! Even better than what I thought it could be. I will never have any reservations about recommending Kathy to anyone looking for a change, or, just simply a gorgeous hair design--both in color and cut. The BEST hair design ARTIST I've ever come across in a lifetime of cuts and color. No question!

An artists eye for style, best hairdresser I have ever employed.

I have been a client of Kreative Edge for several years now, and I can honestly say that Kathy Martin is the best hairdresser I have ever been to. When I am ready for a change, she already has a perfect idea for my next update. She knows exactly what will fit my lifestyle and personality. As an artist myself, I have great attention to detail. Similarly, I always feel that when I leave Kathy's salon, every angle of my cut has been professionally scrutinized. Kathy's knowledge and use of color, including color correction, is excellent. I feel lucky to have found (and been a client of) Kathy and Kreativ Edge. I would recommend Kathy to anyone looking for a detailed, creative, and personalized professional haircut in a beautiful salon.

AWESOME Stylist

Kathy is talented and very creative with cut, color and style. She is a high spiritual person with a great personality and communication skills. She is very knowledge, and awesome at recommending something for your facial shape. Kathy has always made my hair look as if I had just walked out of a magazine! She ROCKS! I can't count haw many times people have stopped me, just to tell me how good my color and style looks. She makes me proud to be one of her clients. I just wish I had more time to see her more often. Location and prices are wonderful. Come for yourself you won't be disappointed.

The best hair styling expert in the greater Seattle area, yet down to earth!

Kathy Martin has been styling my hair for about 4 years, and she always makes me feel perfect with my hair every time she gives me a haircut. I have never been disappointed by her. Considering the large amount of hair I have, I always think that 'wow, she should be charging me at least twice as much as what she charges other people...," which I have never told her. Her prices are reasonable. Being an Asian, I have *A LOT* of thick black hair (on my head...). I have seen many other hair stylists struggle with it ending up with less than optimal result. However, Kathy magically knows how to deal with hair like mine. Her hair styling skill is way above my expectation and conversation/consulting we have during the hair styling process convinces me that she has profound knowledge and significant experience in hair styling. I completely trust her professional skills and I feel very comfortable letting her do what she thinks is the best for my hair. A very well skilled expert in his/her field sometimes can be obnoxious as you might have encountered elsewhere. However, Kathy is down-to-earth, kind, relaxed, and personable. I understand very well why she has a long list of clients who have been coming back to Kreativ Edge Hair Design for many years.

Kathy Martin has been cutting and coloring my hair for many years. Her easy-going style enhances the relaxed experience at Kreativ Edge. Through her artistic ability as well as her understanding and knowledge of color, design, style and product, she has built a successful business with confident, happy clients. The compliments I get on my hair is a confirmation of Kathy's ability. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a hair design experience that is warm, friendly and relaxed in a place where you will be listened to and leave having your hair be all you would like it to be.

Best Haircut

I really love what Kathy does with my hair. She is a true artist and I no longer make suggestions but just tell her to cut away. As a guy I appreciate that she really makes a short haircut look good. I have been seeing Kathy for several years and would highly recommend her work for anyone who wants to look their best.

Best Colorist in Redmond

I have had Kathy Martin of Kreativ Edge style my hair for about six months and I am impressed with both of her knowledge of the trade as well as artistic vision. For years, I had the buzzed hair cut (which I did not ask for) from SuperCuts, with addition of blonding kits from super markets (L'Oreall, Herbal Essences, etc.). After months of been told that I look like Big Bird of Sesame Street, or an Irish man (I?m a natural brunet), I was able to transform into a hip young engineer. I like my new looks, and have been getting a lot of good feedback from friends and coworkers. The next thing in my list is getting my wardrobe modernized!

By the way I also got some products that would help me with my mild hair loss problem without the problems of Rogaine and other hormone based products.

THE best on the Eastside!!

ERIN has transformed my brittle, messy, dull hair into long, silky, shiny hair that I am very happy with. I have sent my sisters to her and they just love her too! We love ERIN! Someone else here described her as being the "sweetest Spirit" It is true, I totally agree! I have been to stylists who seem to be burned out, don't care etc....But not Erin! She is the sweetest person I have ever met! She will use her talent and knowledge and make your hair look and feel better than ever before! If I had a dollar for every compliment I have gotten about my hair, well...you know! Better call soon and get your appointment spot!

Great value: great haircut, style, color for very reasonable cost

I discovered Jasmine's talents a couple years ago and am very pleased with myself for having found her. Jasmine has given me the best haircuts of my life--great shape that makes me look better than I ought to. I always feel ten feet tall and bullet-proof when I get one of her cuts / styles / colors. And I always have fun! She's a kick in the pants with a wicked sense of humor. Not only does she do great hair, she's a color magician. And she's right on the money every time. She takes you down paths you might not think of yourself and you find that you look great! And her cuts / styles / colors are taylored just to you. Did I mention her scalp massages???? The perfect relaxer on a busy day! Very reasonably priced for the quality!!!!!! Overall: a great value in terms of talent, expertise and cost.
