Smoke Salmon Fettuccine
by silverylotus

I love love love their Smoke Salmon Fettuccine, it's my favorite dish of all times. I always get their Manila Clams and Linguine too if I want something "lighter". I honestly haven't tried much else on the menu (except fo the tiramisu, which is also excellent) because I always end up getting either one. It's one of my favorite restaurant to go to. It's too bad I don't drive that way anymore so I don't go there as often as I would like.
- Pros: Quality, Service, Price
- Cons: Location
Not what we had hoped for...

I was really pumped to go to this restaurant because it's close to our house and I LOVE Italian food. All I can say is that the wine and my company was the only thing that I enjoyed. My husband had the veal that reminded us simply of the Swanson's chicken dinner from the freezer and I had the pancetta wrapped sirloin with Gorgonzola...ugh. Not good at all! I was so disappointed...it wasn't even mediocre and wasn't cooked as I had asked. Our server was hovering over us like a swarm of bees and our bill turned out to be $110 bucks. (2 drinks, 2 entrees and 1 appetizer) I really wanted this to be my new "go to" Italian restaurant, but I'll never go back.
- Pros: location, wine
- Cons: food, hovering servers
Something different

The quality of food at Italianissimo is comparable to or exceeding the quality you'd find in the city. The portions are larger than the downtown boutique spots, the prices are lower, and you will not find a better prepared filet mignon in the area, Seattle included. The atmosphere is nice, intimate, and also approachable and comfortable if you aren't dressed up or if you choose to bring the kids. The specials are always a great choice. Suggestions: panna rosa gnocci, crab ravioli with orange cream sauce, tiramisu, filet mignon, chicken marsala, chop salad, penne proscuitto. Italianissimo accommodates custom orders. Great wine list and awesome intimate group table in their wine cellar that can be rented out.
- Pros: The food is the number one best part of this restaurant.
- Cons: Location
Medeorcre, bland food at relatively high prices make this a good place to miss

We were excited when our friends recommended this Italian restaurant in Woodinville as there are not many choices for good Italian food in the area. Too bad this was such a disappointment.
The pear salad had diced pairs that tasted like canned with a flavorless dressing.
The lasagna was overcooked with limp noodles and bland tomato sauce that also tasted canned. The chicken piccata was pricey, the portion small and the flavor MIA.
On the upside the atmosphere was nice and the service good.
Summary: If this is your only choice it's OK, otherwise keep driving.
wonderful food & wine, intimate

the only reason i am not giving 5 stars is because every time we have been there the service is not the best. it is good, but there is def. room for improvement, especially is its quickness. some of my favorites are their espresso martini, their version of a chopped salad, their risottos and their tiramisu. it is dimly light and very intimate. there is a bar, but we have never sat there. call for reservations on the weekends. they had a special menu for valentine's day.
- Pros: high quality food.
- Cons: slow service

Probably one of the top three italian restaurants on the Eastside. I'd forgotten how good this place was since I ate there last, at their 'downtown' Woodinville location. Went there on a Friday night, had to wait about 20 minutes because we hadn't made a reservation (I don't know if they take them). We waited in the bar where a very attentive bartender waited on us and made a few awesome drinks. I had the Gnocchi with a meat sauce. The Gnocchi was handmade fresh and the fresh bread (very important at an Italian restaurant) was very good. The wait staff was attentive and quick.
- Pros: food, service, bar
- Cons: location?

Upscale strip mall restaurant specializing in Northern Italian fare and a standout wine list.
This place is one of the best Woodinville has to offer!

Just wanted to log in and say that anyone who does not absolutely love this restaurant is out of their mind. The staff is amazing, the atmosphere is great, and the food is to die for. My mom and stepdad go there frequently and are always treated like royalty....love it
- Pros: just about everything
- Cons: why can't the food be free?

It always surprises me when I read "not recommended" for this superb restaurant... I use to live down the street and my husband and I have been eating here for years. It is by far one of the most enjoyable dining experiences... from the ambience (I love the romantic fireplace) to their extensive menu - my favorite entree is the filet with gorganzola (you can cut it with a fork) - my husband loves the veal parmesian!!! Don't miss the Shrimp Bisque Soup. They also have the best chopped salad in the Seattle area. Incredible "wine selection" and we love their "winemaker dinners"!!!
- Pros: Great Food, Great Atmosphere, Friendly
- Cons: No lunch on Weekends

Horrible food and service combined with excessive prices make this one of the worst restaurants in the Puget Sound Area!
