On a recent visit to Seattle, my wife & I stopped here several times. The pastrami & corned-beef sandwiches are some of the best you'll get outside of NYC, plus -they don't raise an eyebrow if you want cheese (including Tilamook Cheddar) on it . The meatloaf sandwich was great-- like something grandma would put together for a picnic. All served on tasty fresh baked bread. My wife said the chocolate covered coconut cookie, was the best cookie ever. All the baked goods were top quality, and we tried quite a few. Early on a weekday morning this is one of the few places open at Pike Place Market, and we had a good cup o'joe & a fresh baked bagel, served by a gentleman, who was one of the frendliest, service-oriented people we've encountered in many years of travel. In tourist mobbed Pike Market, it was very refreshing to find staff so helpful and cheerful.
