Overrated

I dont know why people are so crazed about this pizza place. The pizza that i ordered was extremely greasy and the quality of the ingredients are poor. I'll stick with my neighborhood's Pagliacci's instead in U. District!

Best pizza ever

This was the best pizza I have had in years. Yum yum. The owners are so nice and friendly. It was so good that we had them make pizzas for our new company's presentation. We couldn't stop eating.

Best Kept Secret

This pizza is sooooo good! I'm picky when it comes to finding a good pizza joint since I'm not the biggest fan of some of the cheap stuff that is served around my neighborhood but this definitely has the "New York Authenticity" to go along with quick service that's helpful when grabbing a bite to eat on a lunch break. While I'm a bit hesitant to write good reviews of the places I enjoy eating at (since it contributes to the place becoming overcrowded and popular) I'd feel guilty keeping such a find all to myself. Enjoy!

Can't beat the price

While PAP has decent pizza, I certainly do not think it is the best, but at $2 a slice you cannot beat it. There are all kinds of different pizza and I hate it when people try to compare varities, but here are my favs; Greek=Pegasus, light crusts, great Greek toppings and a killer location on Alki Beach, Sicillian=Abbondonza, thin chewy crusts and great toppings make go back over and over again, New York=Paggliacci get a Queens pepperoni and meatballs...MMM.

• Pros: Price
• Cons: Slow and not much seating

There isn't much room to sit down and eat--most folks grab a stool and lean onto the bar. Lunch draws crowds that can spill onto the sidewalk; the daily range of slices keep people coming back. The thin crust is coated with house-made tomato sauce, flavored with herbs and garlic. Simple cheese and pepperoni is an option, but more complex, modern toppings are also available.

real pizza in Seattle

Post Alley is the only real pizza joint in this city by eastcoast standards...too unclean...shut-up, this is a pizza shop...people use their hands, make dough, cut lettuce etc. go somewhere else, and bring some cleaning solution...and the idiot going by macorpheuspora...go eat the glue dough up at Via Tribunali like all the other pizza morons in this city...twit

Good Food but VERY Unorganized/Unclean

Post Alley has great pizza, the sauce is homemade (VERY YUM) and the crust is just slightly burnt/toasty, if you like that, which I do. However, they are always out of pepperoni or pizza by the slice altogether resulting in long waits, which isn't good on people's limited lunch hour. The shop is DIRTY with UNCLEAN food preparation. They do not wash the romaine for their cesar salad. When the bin isn't stocked, they just pull out the romain, chop it, and use it, again no washing. The counters are dirty and the crew will often touch people's money and then touch your food as well. Besides being unclean, the largest gripe is how unorganized this place is. If the food wasn't so as good as it is, I wouldn't go back.

• Cons: Unclean, Unorganized, Frequently out of Pepperoni Pizza

Cross Country

I live in Minnesota and I was visiting my brother in Seattle for spring break and my wife and I were downtown in search of a place to eat. We took a shotcut and saw the pizza shop and went in. I found the Pizza to be the best I have ever had and very good price. We ate for under $10. I love the place so much I insist that ever time or ANY family goes they must stop in for a meal. I love the mood and is a great getaway from the drizzle.

• Pros:  Inexpensive, friendly, few seats

simply the best

ok i just got here from new york and regardless of what the very few neg. reviews say (you obviously appreciate domino's, zeek's, or pagliachi's over real pizza) POST ALLEY is the best pizza Seattle has offer. everything about this place, the staff, the sauce, crust, etc. is amazing. too bad its only open on the weekdays. try it!
