First, I must start off by saying that Geneva is by far the best restaurant I have ever dined at. I have traveled around the globe, and across the US, and have dined in various high class restaurants, but Geneva Restaurant has been the best. They indubitably have the most amazing, and delicious food I have ever tasted. Service exceeded all of my expectations. The staff was very kind and I have no complaints. The chef actually came out and greeted us after our meal; it was a splendid. All in all Geneva was a spectacular experience. The next time I visit Seattle Geneva will most definatley be my first stop.

Pros: Amazing service, spectacular food, wonderful & inviting atmosphere.

I've been to Geneva twice, the first time in late 2006, the second just last week. The first time was wonderful-the food the service, the ambiance and recommened it to everyone. I was extremely surprised when we went last week. We had guests in town and I wanted to show them what a lovely place it was. Our first course was very good. Our main course arrived and one of our guests found that the beef was not cooked to her liking. I spoke to the owner (very nicely) who proceeded to give us a long lecture about how the beef was exactly as we ordered it. It was insulting and rude! They remade the steak (and gave us another lecture). My husbands linguini with scallops had (oddly) very little linguini, but in all fairness my lamb was excellent. I would have given this place an extremely high rating last year, but I will now never go back.

Pros: Lovely atmosphere, good food

Cons: Inconsistent rude service. Parking is horrible

I took a friend here as a treat for us both and quickly wished it had been a date instead (although we both enjoyed each others company nonetheless!). Elegant and demure, the location is hidden away on Pill Hill. The staff is remarkable and knowledgeable. It was very quiet on the weekday evening we went and we got very personal service, but they assured us even on a busy night they would take excellent care of us. We began with the Smoked Salmon Garni... FRSH and DELICIOUS! The foi Gras was pan seared and delectable! I tried GRILLED FILET MIGNON WITH FRESH HERB BUTTER and it was perfect and buttery tender. My companion had the ROASTED R_ack_ OF LAMB with the anna potatoes and I stole a delicious bite from his plate. So good! We shared some poached pears for dessert and the whole meal was accompnaied by three different wines that were carefully, and expertly, selected for our meal. The closing coffee was rich and had no acid to overkill the falvors of everything. TOP NOTCH service, DELICIOUS food... I will go back again and again!

We went for a birthday dinner, just the two of us. We started with the Dungeoness Crab Cakes, moving on to Baby Spinach Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette and Mesclun Salad in Raspberry Vinaigrette, followed by Lobster Bisque. For dinner, we had the Jaeger Schnitzel, and deserts of Warm Apple Strudel and Bittersweet Chocolate Mousse in a Florentine shell. In a word: Outstanding. The balsamic dressing was rich, the bisque was mouth watering, and the Jaeger... It requires tastebuds built for heaven-sent cuisine - If you've ever WANTED to taste a perfect meal, this is it.

Pros: Flavor, Ambiance, Service

Cons: Parking

Came here with my girlfreind. I had gotten some bad directions from MSN maps and had a small amount of trouble finding it, but I called Geneva and they were able to get me there very quickly. Wasn't very busy, considering it was a Saturday night. Hostess and server were both very freindly and gave us excellent service. The food was excellent. I got chicken topped with dungenous crab. It was one of the best things I have ever eaten in my life. The chef came out and chatted with us for a couple of minutes, he was extremely freindly. Decor of the dining room was great. They had some nice, interesting pieces of art on the wall. Geneva is now my favorite Seattle resteraunt I think(a spot formerly held by Sostanza). The total bill was $95(after tax and tip) for the two of us, but it was worth it.

Pros: Great service, Delicious food

Without a doubt, one of the most wonderful dining experiences I have ever had. I went there about a year ago on my anniversary. I a steak you could cut with a fork, and my wife had a pork tenderloin that just about melted on the plate! Desert was a sampler that was amazing. The service was also terrific. Everyone was very attentive without intruding. We had an anniversary card waiting at our table, and the chef (owner) came to see us after the dinner.

Pros: ambiance, service, food

What to Drink

The wine list encompasses a generous selection of glasses and half-bottles, in addition to an excellent range of full sizes. German wines are especially well represented. Variations rotate seasonally, but try the Geneva Cocktail, a mix of Lillet, Triple Sec and orange juice.
