Never had a good experience. When I first moved to Seattle, I was going to UW and didn't have a car, so the Mexican restaurants that were convenient to school weren't that great, which is how I came upon Azteca to begin with. The service is great, the people were really nice and everything, it's just the food that kills the place. Once my friend ordered vegetarian fajitas, and the veggies had literally gone bad, no joke. The server took them back and apologized of course, but how the kitchen let those arrive at our table is a totally different story. Overall the food is sub-par, I wouldn't recommend.

I won't go there again. The food in general was very lack-lustre as compared to Jalisco. The tortillas were rubbery. The chips were crispy but had a weird bitter taste. I will, definitely not go back again.

Americanized Mexican restaurant serves burritos, enchiladas, tamales, chimichangas and other favorites in a fun--and garish--setting..

azteca. Azteca is decent enough Mexican food but not great. Their fajita quesadilla and poblanos in scrambled egg are the only dishes I find to be consistantly good. The service at the Northgate location has declined since their move and remodel. Mojitos are awful, sangria is pretty good. Prices still reasonable enough and parking is readily available.

yuck. I disagree with this. Azteca? I mean come on now. It's not comfort food.

Too expensive. Very nice but it's still basic Mexican cuisine -nicer than a cafe but but not much better in the food department.

Heck No!. I don't think Azteca Mexican Restaurant is good comfort food. It's not really even Mexican food. It's more like a better quality Taco Bell. Their food is very Americanized.

Horrible Service. If you want slow, indifferent service, come to this restaurant. The hostess was rude and the bartender never acknowledged us even though we were the only two in the bar! I for one will not make a return to this lackluster joint.
