I wish I had read these two reviews earlier! I have been uneventfully using this dry cleaner for about a year or so. I just had 3 pairs of pants shortened and when I tried them on at home, they were all too long. One of them even covered the shoe (with the exact same heel as I wore when I tried them for shortening). The owner/manager seemed like he was going to be helpful, but when I tried the first pair on, he declared they were perfect. OK, I thought, on to the next one. Again, "perfect." Now, I had gone in there thinking that if he made a fuss about doing them again, I would pay but just never go back. BUT, he did not make a fuss as much as lose his temper, throw a hissy fit telling me how busy he was, accuse me of switching shoes, and then insist that if I wanted a certain length, I should mark the pants. Um, he is the tailor, is he not? Then, as I was changing back into my clothes that didn't drag on the floor, he yelled that I have done this 2 or 3 times. Um, not evenly remotely true. And then he proceeded to rant in a mumbling fashion about how he has been in this business for 20+ years and this has never happened. Doubt that. And incidentally, when I came in to drop the pants off, a man came in complaining of a lost sweater (that seemed very dear to him). The owner/manager/yucky man running the shop did not seem very concerned, and again started in with the "I've been in this business for blah blah blah years...." I should have read the omen better. Please, even if it's down the street from you, DO NOT use this dry cleaner. Someone who treats his customers as he does should not be in business.

Pros: None

Cons: Customer service and tailoring

We have been using this dry cleaner for many years. They recently lost items of ours and have not followed up to try and locate them or taken our inquiries seriously. We are disappointed and would not recommend this business to anyone.

Everyone's familiar with the timeless Seinfeld character Soup Nazi who had a product he could treat his customers like dirt. What to call a drycleaner who is surly, mean and offers a damaging product and the worst consumer experience of a lifetime? POW Camp Commandant? Gas Chamber Commander? After dropping off a big first-time order and giving detailed instructions on gentle treatment of a prized sportcoat, the item was finished with discoloration streaks and a shabby pressing that left the lining sticking out the cuff. Upon pointing out that the service was not acceptable, merchant responded that it was "good enough" for him. He then suggested I "buy a new jacket." Finally he closed with a series of profanities. My credit card bill arrived and the Gas Chamber Maid had charged me twice.

Pros: convenient location

Cons: won't explain bill, damages clothes, insults clientelle
