Cappuccino and iced mocha chumley

by gelagela7 at Citysearch

I got a cappuccino and mocha chumley, and they're pretty good! the cappuccino definitely has more espresso flavor than what starbucks or other "mainstream" big corporate coffees offer. Parking and seating are limited, but if you're not planning on staying for long, just ordering to-go, I'd definitely recommend. I think I'll try their americano next time---- seems like pure shots in water bring out the true flavor of espresso.

  • Pros: cappuccino, iced tea fusions (w/coffee... e.g. chumley), friendly barista
  • Cons: parking, seating, no wi-fi, a little pricier than other places i've been to

Best cafe atmosphere in North West Seattle

by PilsnerPaul at Citysearch

I used to frequent this bit of cafe heaven every morning on my way to work. But sInce our business has its own barista and espresso bar now (sigh), I never get here anymore except maybe one weekend a month when I golf. Staff are polite, flirty and coffee smart. Their menu board will satisfy anyone's coffee tastes no matter how peculiar. The interior is what I would call Bellevue Square meets Capitol Hill. It's just a great place to call your own.

  • Cons: Chairs are a little uncomfortable at times.

No Diva's Here!

by LeezaGib at Citysearch

Diva's Espresso is a comfy, cozy shop perfect for grabbing a coffee and reading the stranger. Not diva-ish at all! The staff is extremely personable, and make great drinks! They know me by name, and remembered my order after only a few times of ordering. I recommend the Diva Chumley! It's Diva-licious!!

  • Pros: Friendly Staff, FABULOUS Coffee
  • Cons: Bad Parking

I (heart) Diva!!!

by norton98105 at Citysearch

Diva Espresso is great! I have never meet an unfriendly barista--many of which remeber your name and you usual coffee beverage. The coffee is really good, I think the best in Seattle!

  • Pros: Friendly staff, great coffee
  • Cons: pastries are okay

Nice Spot

by rsandresen at Citysearch

The servers rock and chances are they will remember you and what you like. The place is small, though, and if you enter from the wrong way you get dirty looks from the snotty customers. The seating is comfortable but can be hard to come by. Unfortunately, they have decent parking, so the morning commuters are encouraged to stop here. They are usually the impatient ones and are easy to spot. If you are a local, this place is hard to beat for a cup of coffee if your timimg is good and you can sit and watch Greenwood go by. Food is limited, but what they have is decent.

  • Pros: coffee, atmosphere, service
  • Cons: small, clientele

Diva's is the best addition to the Greenwood neighborhood in a long time! The location is perfect, they have parking, and their coffee is to die for! It's very unique and always brewed richly and very fine. For a while I was getting nothing but their chai tea because it was made better every time I ordered it. They have a nice, laid-back atmosphere, beautiful decor, quiet, great place to have a nice quiet conversation or read a book and relax with some good, warm coffee. In the summertime, they have a lot of nice iced drinks as well!

Great coffee, nice people, good atmosphere.

Complaints about the coffee are surprising to me. I've always had a great experience. I usually have an americano so can't comment on syrups and such.

A coffee bar with the Midas touch, evident in both the decor and the coffee.

by Contributor at Citysearch

In Short
It's like a tiny home, perfect for the surrounding residential neighborhoods. The opulent decor reflects the owners' passion for antiques. The most dramatic examples of their collection swing from above--chandeliers of crystal, glass and gold. Diva serves up a smooth espresso variety called Vesuvio, roasted by Batdorf and Bronson in Olympia. Other offerings include Tazo teas, juices, Thomas Kemper sodas and pastries.

Diva's homey And has good coffee!

by crazykat at Citysearch

Perhaps the previous posters never just order a plain ol'cup of coffee or simple capuccino... which they excel at! Plus, when you go on the busiest times of the day, they still get your order out hot, correct. Staff is friendly and almost always remember you and what you had last time... become a regular here, it's worth it.

  • Pros: good coffee, friendly staff, quick service
  • Cons: parking can be tight, need more seating

Look For Something Better

by road_warrior at Citysearch

Diva is terribly overrated. Maybe it's the decor and the setting, but it really comes down to just coffee. When I order a white chocolate mocha, for instance, I expect white chocolate--the thick kind that comes in the can--not white chocolate flavored syrup. Unbelievable. They charge for icing a coffee. They charge for syrups you can't even taste. This kind of overcharging has gone the way of free internet. For $3.65, I'll go to Tully's or Sam's Espresso instead.

  • Pros: Location, Room to read a book
  • Cons: Overpriced, Weak Coffee, Nonstandard chocolate
