Amazing tea, friendly people, good music

We just visited Teahouse KY for the first time in a few years. It has been under new ownership for the last 15 months. It was evening so we had the Herbal Chai Tea. This is a special blend from the new the owner that will be our night time tea at home from now on. It's mellow and comforting with a lovely finish. We sat, chatted, had a delicious pastry, and spent a couple of cozy hours just enjoying being together in a calm, welcoming place. We recommend Teahouse KY as a destination for buying the highest quality tea and for unplugging, or plugging into the free wifi, for an hour or two.

Since 1991, this cozy Wallingford tea shop has been providing locals with unusual blends, free Wi-Fi and live music.

Sit back, relax, have a cuppa tea

Kuan Yin is a relaxing, cozy little teahouse in the middle of Wallinford. Especially notable are the delicious desserts they serve (from Essential Baking Company down the street). The owners also make an effort to have live music performances on a regular basis. When I stopped in last I was pleasantly suprised by a koto concert. A nice place to relax with a book, a letter to write or a friend to chat with.

A former regular to the Teahouse, sadly this establishment has declined due to two changes in ownership/management.

Serene & Pleasant

Perfect for reading or writing, Kuan Yin offers respite from the world. I especially love the fish tank, although the bookstore mentioned in the Citysearch review has moved around the corner, to be replaced with an ice cream shop.
