I was very impressed by the variety of goods within the store. I also was very impressed that if she did not have the item she referred me to other antiques stores within Greenwood (A blast from the past like Maceys Santa from the pic Miricle on 34th Street).One could also bargain on items which some stores do not. Go there you'll be impressed.

Heirloom barely describes what one sees when enjoying this shop. Owners are inviting and expert in antiques/collectibles and appraising same. Good to mention what I am looking for because of the very organized "layers" of estate items/antiques/collectibles. If they don't have it now, they call when they do. Love the personal touch and their knowledge. After 20+ years of frequenting this superb, 1992 Mayors Small Business Award recipient, its time for Seattle to honor a real asset, and in my book favorite Seattle City's BEST Antique Shop around! The owner greets with something for everyone, even if its just "the free emotional journey" one feels when seeing "Granma's (Pa's) treasures! Frances

When I visited Hurds Antiques Etc. I was taken in by what I saw in the shop. It was like taking a trip down memory lane. I saw so many things that I remember seeing in my grandmothers' homes and later in my mother's or my aunts' homes. The proprieter made the tour more exciting by talking about any of the objects I was drawn to. Travel around the country and stopping in many antique stores, I found this experience to be one of the most delightful.
Pros: lots to view, cheerful people, good prices
