Greasy and tasteless burgers! They are counting on drunken college kids who do not have much to spend.
- Pros: price
- Cons: everything about this place!

Always the best fries!! On a recent school field trip, the students (all 97 of them) wanted to stop there on the way home for lunch. A quick phone call was placed and they greeted us with smiles and opened up 2 extra windows just for the students~~

We love going to Dick's Drive-In. This place has the best burgers in Seattle, and it's always hopping. There is alwasys a line here, but it's worth it. I usually opt for the Onion Rings instead of the fries, but the Milkshakes and Ice Cream products are really good too. It's worth it to stop here. Great Food.
The Most Overrated Burger Joint In Seattle

It's amazing at how hyped up this place is. The food is mediocre at best, and the service is terrible. The only form of redemption is the price, which even then isn't that good. There is much better burger joints in the area, for example Daily's up on eastlake and Red Mill.
- Pros: Price? Maybe?
- Cons: Service, Food, Just about everything
The WORST burger experience ever

I can't believe this is the top of the heap for burger joints in Seattle. I went expecting a fantastic burger, and with the lack of service I got, it should of been the best burger ever. First, they don't take requests, which was ok for my burger, but was not for my dog's burger. They act like it is too much trouble to leave mustard and ketchup of a burger. Anyway, I order the quarter pound burger, a chocolate shake and french fries, and oh yeah ketchup, cause they charge for that. I proceeded to scrap the ketchup and mustard off my dog's burger, went to the car and began to examine the food. First off, let me tell you my shake was not fresh. I saw the girl pull it out of the freezer. Even then, it was somewhat melted and barely chocolate. Second, I picked up a fry which was completly soggy. All the fries were limp and greasy, I couldn't even consume them. So after a dismal start, I opened my hamburger(you know the one that is just so good I couldn't custom order it). I now know why they can't take requests. If they did, then they would never be able to sell the heap of soggy, mayo drowned mess I got. Needless to say I don't even know why this place is open. Save your money and get quality at McDonalds. At least you can get just a patty there(and every other place I have been too). The best thing about the experience was the lively crows that provided us with live entertainment by fighting over the left over buns in front of the building.
Pros: The Crows
Cons Greasy fries, melted shake, soggy burger, no service, no quality, pay for ketchup, don't take requests
I can't decide..

What was worse? Could it have been the terrible customer service (complete with eye-rolling while taking my order)? Or could it had been the "atmosphere" with the filthy tables and giant painting of a cow in the kitchen? No, I know - it was the DRY burger that I ate.
Seriously - this is a big city, folks. There are many, MANY better places to eat.
Urban legend?? That's the only thing I can think of as to why this place has such high reviews.
- Pros: Price
- Cons: Food taste, atmosphere, horrible customer service.. Need I go on???
great for what they are.

where else can you get cheap, fresh hot burgers and a pretty decent chocolate shake at 1:55am.
....that's what i thought.
Best Root beer Floats!

This place is the perfect place to go past midnight if you are still have the munchies. It has the best root beer floats! You get a hunk of fresh vanilla ice cream with bubbling root beer poured over the top. Prices are dirt cheap which makes it affordable for us poor college students. It generally seems to be a college late-night hangout with a speckling of the older crowd. I personally don't care for the French fries (I?m "too picky") but plenty of my friends scarf them down before the steam has time to roll off. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a decent meal for cheap.
- Pros: Cheap, cheap food
- Cons: wait can be a while when it's busy

dicks is not a gourmet burger place but it is a thousand times better than mcdonalds. the fries are an acquired taste. I hated them when i was a kid but love them now. i always get regular cheeseburger, fries and a coke. If you like to chew ice, their ice is the best - it's small and easily chewed - tastes great with a sip of coke. I also like how they have good benefits and pay for their employee's education.
- Pros: fast service, inexpensive, fun for kids
Eh..wasn't impressed

Everyone says that Dick's is so good. However, I wasn't very impressed. The hamburger was pretty average and the fries were terrible. The milkshake that I had was pretty good. Also this Dick's is in a kinda sketchy location around the U. My roommate said that their Deluxe burger is really good..maybe I should have tried that...but I wasn't impressed when I went.
- Pros: cheap, good milkshake
- Cons: burger wasn't great, greasy & nasty fries, sketchy area
