The best Thai food around

by gussie29

All I can say is that the Thai food is so good and not greasy at all. I would agree with some other users that the wait is a little long, but you can tell everything is fresh, so I am okay with waiting for quality. My favorite dishes are the red curry dinner with chicken, the cashew nut chicken, and the larb na starter salad. My husband and I go there about 2-3 times a month and we just love it there. I would recommend it to everyone around. Plus the servers are so friendly and nice it makes a nice experience

  • Pros: Super good food, fresh ingredients

good food, bad service

by sugarjen

When I first discovered this little Thia place so close to my house I was excited! It's cute, it's inexpensive, and the food is good. But the last few times I have been there the service has been horrible! I don't understand this at all, considering it has never been busy. The last time my husband and I were the only customers in the whole restaurant. You would think our food would have come quickly, but we still waited about a half hour to be served.

Unidentified Ingredients And Slow Service

by akd3923k324lk324234323423

I was recently taken to this place by friends to celebrate my birthday. They were not terribly busy, but our waiter seated us, then was not seen for at least 30 minutes. When we were finally asked our order, the food took another 45 minutes to an hour to arrive at the table, one dish at a time, 15 minutes apart. In one of the seafood dishes, there was an uncooked looking translucent mass. We asked the waiter what it was and he astoundingly said "I don't know." Very reassuring.

  • Cons: Terrible Service, Unidentifiable Food, Cramped Atmosphere

Great Place!!

by kristatimberlake

I love the food at this restaurant, definitely the best thai food I have ever had. The staff is always courteous and very knowledgeable about the dishes and their contents. I have eaten here many times and the food is always delicious. Great first date place! The restaurant is small but cozy and the elephant mural on the wall make this place romantic. Highly recommend!

I am a lover of Thai food and have eaten in many Thai restaurants in Seattle. Thai Cafe is one of my very favorites. The food is excellent, authentic and individual. The atmosphere is friendly, warm and inviting- plan to stay awhile. The service was very good. Our waiter very friendly and explained every dish. One thing is that the food comes a little slow- but when it gets there it is delicious.

Don't Bother

by merlecarlson

First off our service was terrible! We sat there for 15 minutes before they would even bring us water. We ordered our food about another 10 minutes after that, and when our food came, mine was the wrong dinner. When I told the waiter he told me that the ran out of the wide rice noodles, so they substited it with out asking me first. They offered to take it back and I could order something else. We did not have time because we were already running late for our movie. They still charged me for the meal, and I did not have time to argue. Will NEVER be back!

Just go to Fremont where you can have great Thai Food and even better service.

so-so curry

by enderws

I stopped in on a friend's suggestion at 3:30 one afternoon. I had the entire place to myself, so service was great. But a simple red curry with tofu was greasy and overloaded with bamboo shoots. In my experience with Thai restaurants, the more elaborate the decor, the more mediocre the food, and vice versa. Skip this one.
