This restaurant is a great place to dine in. Their foods are delicious, the staffs are very friendly and it is very delicious for Japanese foods. They also have a website (www.daimonjirestaurant com) This is a good thing to view their menus before going into the restaurant or make an order by FAX. This restaurant should be recommend to anybody

I want to introduce to those who love Japanese food that Daimonji Japanese Restaurant is where worth a try. The food quality of this restaurant is increasing after the new owner take over the restaurant. The combination of the food is just fabulous that I can taste it with every bite. This is our family Japanese Restaurant that we want to share this happiness to everyone. I guarantee that you can't find such a good special combination with low price in seattle.
Pros: Great food combinations. Try their special!

Daimonji Japanese Restaurant is the best food combination restaurant in the whole Seattle. You got to taste their special, it's so good. Although they are kind of slow, but it's understandable, because they are a small restaurant and their waitress told me that they have to put everything on a tray so it takes time. I went to so Many Japanese Restaurant, I had never taste this combination that got everything and it's not over 20 dollars!!! The staffs are also very friendly. This is my favorite restaurant in Seattle, if you are not in a hurry for your dinner, I recommend you to go to Daimonji and enjoy their food.
Pros: They have the best food, best Japanese food combination
Cons: location

Service is often very slow, food is average. This place is just down the hill from my home and I was hoping it would become my regular spot, but the sushi is only average and price is kinda high compared to quality. Staff are friendly, but I don't understand how the service can be so slow when the place is typically not that full and there are several waitresses on standby. Most sushi places I've been to also seem cleaner and have better ambience.
Cons: slow service, ambience

We really wanted to like this place -- just back from Japan and desparate to find good Okonomiyaki. It's not here, though... house mix is bland and tame. Sushi is pretty good, but priced on the high side ($3-$5/2pc order for nigiri). Chicken teriyaki was very fatty, almost like duck. We went for dinner on a Sunday night, not very busy but service was confused and a bit slow anyway. For $40+ without drinks, we left feeling unsatisfied.
Pros: Authentic, Good sushi
Cons: Bad value, Uneven quality

This is a great neighborhood joint. I've been to many other Japanese restaurants in Seattle, but this one has great dishes at a fair price. The fish is always fresh and the California rolls are some of the best I've had in town. Naka, Hama and the staff are friendly and although the service is slow at times, it's due largely to the full restaurants that always pulls a large crowd at lunch and dinner.
Pros: Fresh Fish, Great California Roll, Bento Boxes

Tasty food. Good sushi, especially the spider rolls. Love the black cod as well. Service can be slow at times as the place is always busy when I've been there. But give it a try!
Pros: good menu offering, parking, friendly staff
Cons: , slow service
