Pagliacci's is WAY better!
by ThatDude
I have tried Zeeks a few times as there are a couple locations near my house. Everytime I've been there I came away disappointed. The food is terrible. The crust tastes like you are chewing on cardboard. The salads are not very fresh. The prices are exorbitant and the service is only ok at best. I am really surprised they have so many locations because they are consistent. Consistently bad.
If you're looking for a good pizza in Seattle, go to Pagliacci's.
- Cons: Over priced, bad service, terrible food.
Zeeks - Disappointing premium meat pizza and strange response to complaint
by JWaymack
I ordered 3 large pizzas from Zeeks Pizza this Monday (Mar 9, 2009) for a church meeting: Tree Hugger, Puget Pounder and Wood Butcher (all premium 'signature' pizzas). We paid over $23.00 for each pizza. The meeting was already in progress when the pizzas arrived (on time) and were set out for the group to eat. The Tree Hugger, which I usually order looked fine, but the other two meat pizzas had toppings only in the center of the large pizzas and nothing in the last 2 to 2 /12" of the perimeter. The portion in the center was adequate, but not what I would expect for a 'signature' pizza (ie fully loaded). While I was unhappy with the pizzas, the meeting was underway and did not finish until some time later, so I did not call Zeeks.
I didn't think about the quality of the pizzas until I looked at a pizza a person in line in front of me at Costco was purchasing on Wednesday. I would guess you could call it an extra large pizza that was made by Kirkland (Costco brand). The pizza was loaded with all sorts of meat and veggies ALL the way to the edge of the pizza and sold for $9.99. While I wouldn't try to compare the two pizzas based on 'quality of taste' there was no avoiding the fact there was a huge difference in the amount of product provided.
I called Zeeks that night to express my concern. The night manager was understanding and was sorry we were disappointed by the pizza. Guessing that I might be seeking some compensation, he told me that he wished I had called sooner (I assume Monday night) and that if I had, he would have provided some compensation. I left a complaint on Zeeks site in their feedback section and received a call from the day manager on Thursday. He shared the same story as the night manager. I expressed some dismay that their 'policy' of providing compensation was unknown to me and didn't change the fact that the pizzas still remained disappointing in my mind. After further, fruitless, discussion we ended our conversation.
- Pros: Delivery of pizza was on time
- Cons: Quantity of toppings on 2 large meat pizzas was inadequate to non-existant. Zeeks was not helpful trying to solve the problem.
Yummy pizza

After being abused by the psychotic owner and staff at Bambino's East Coast Pizza just a block or so away,
this was a pleasant and delicious experience. Our waitress was very fast and professional.
I was in an incredilbe rush, she got our pizza split up into 2 boxes and our check to us in
record time. The canadian bacon was very flavorful, the cheese was plentiful, smooth and melty.
I live in the neighborhood, and will be going back. Next time, I'll go on a day off and enjoy some beer.
- Pros: Pizzaria atmosphere, efficient staff ,clean looking, and delicious pizza!!!!
- Cons: On the spendy side but worth it occassionally
Crusty pizza the hut.

Zeek's Pizza (Seattle): Somewhat decent for a run-of-the-mill pizza place. Nothing special. Iceberg lettuce for the salads, but big and juicy with great house dressing. Good local brew on tap. Very friendly staff. Decent prices in Belltown.
Great Pizza, Fun Atmosphere and Awesome Service!
by SusanfromSeattle
My sister and I went to Zeeks with a couple of friends to celebrate a friends new promotion. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with amazing warm pizza smells and friendly staff led us to a table right away. Our server, Josh, was really funny and personable. After a pitcher of IPA we ordered a 1/2 & 1/2 specialty pizza of their Thai and Howser. I was a little nervous about how peanut sauce on pizza would translate but it turned out to be GREAT! You can even choose the level of spice (1-4 or maybe 5 even). It was just the right amount of spice with a hint of sweet from the peanut and carrot. Just awesome on a cold and rainy Seattle night . The Howser was great too but the Thai is my new fave. Friendly faces, great food and a good selection of local brews does it get any better? We'll be back soon Zeeks have a booth waiting!
- Pros: Variety of Specialty Pizzas, Local Brews, Fun Servers
- Cons: Parking
Go to Tutta Bella or Pagliacci's!!!!! WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ZEEKS!!!
by ThuNatalie421
My boyfriend and I are out of towners. We passed by Zeeks when walking to the space needle friday night and decided to go since a guy on the street said they had the best pizza. He forgot to mention they had worse custmer service. It was totally BAD! We came there on last Saturday for a late lunch. We walked in and a waitress walked by who did not even acknowledge us. Another staff member, who was obviously busy putting away dishes, greeted us and he sat us down. My boyfriend and I looked at the menu and after a while was ready to order, but no waitresses or waiters were in site. It was understandable that it was busy, so we waited. The same waitress that we saw earlier came by and asked the table next to us if they needed anything else. Again, understandable. Then she turned and walked away. Again, she did not acknowledge us. My boyfriend and I just looked at each other and continued to wait. She came by to seat someone behind us and again asked the table next to us if they needed a box and then went away. I was stunned. There was no acknowledgement whatsoever. I mean the food was overpriced from looking at the menu, but still we wanted to eat. For the first time in my life, I walked out of a restuarant. I've been to bad places before, but this was unacceptable. Instead, I would recommend TUTTA BELLA! We actually got a chance to eat the food!!! The pizza here is amazing and affordable. Customer service was excellent as well. I would also recommend a side salad and the drinks! Everything was great here and look much more appealing. Pagliacci's in my opinion is number one. A lot to choose from and they also sell by the slice.
- Pros: Props to the waiter who sat us done
- Cons: BAD CUSTOMER SERIVCE from the waitress with short dirty blonde hair with glasses, PARKING, expensive, better off elsewhere
Great Pizza...Now that's Italian!
by bigcat57
As any east Coast Italian in Seattle can attest to, finding a good pizza in Seattle has always been a challange. Zeek's has definitely taken care of that. They have an incredible crust, a great sauce to match and quality ingedients. Someone is finally giving Pagliacci a run for there money...
I frequent both the Denny Way and Freemont locations and have never been disappointed.
My fave is the John Candy or the "stop your heart" pizza as I call it!!!
Service is always quick and friendly...Great place to grab a slice at lunch!
- Pros: Best Crust in town...
Le NO!
by danic81
I was so excited to taste their pizza!
The online delivery system worked... I got exactly what I ordered...
but the delivery guy was pretty gross and did not look like someone I would want handling my food.
the salad had withered leaves
the thai pizza was a sad sad disappointment when I was expecting something akin to a GOOD pizza place in Seattle.
V. disappointing.
Delicious Pizza & Great Service!!!

I have been going to Zeeks for a few years now and have never been dissapointed!!! The servers are always friendly and the pizzas are delicious!! There are so many different pizzas to choose from but The Super Margarita and The Kitchen Sink are my favorite. Go and try them for yourself, you'll love it !!!

- Pros: Service, Pizza, and Atmosphere!!
- Cons: Parking is sometimes difficult
Craving it now
by jillaroo
My bro was a delivery driver for Zeeks. The John Candy with fresh garlic!? In desperate need of some tic tacs afterwards but YUM! Highly recommend the breadsticks (and the ranch dipping sauce) along with a John Candy. Quite the delight. Man I'm craving some Zeeks now. Will have to make the pilgrimmage south to the Kirkland shop.
- Pros: Great food, nice muzak overhead, priced pretty well.
- Cons: Parking at the Kirkland locale can be kinda tricky. Plan on walking a few blocks or paying if you visit during an off time.
