AT FIRST GLANCE WHEN YOU GET INTO POSTAL PLUS, IT SEEMS TO ME THAT YOU ARE VISITING SOMEWHERE NEAR THE UNITED NATION IN NEW YORK, FOR THERE HANG FLAGS OF OTHER NATIONS AROUND THE WORLD. THEN YOU FIND IT A REAL US POST OFFICE, WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE, PLUS CHOICES OF UPS, FEDEX & DHL. BEST OF ALL, I LOVE ITS BOOK RATE, 58BL BOX TO CAMBRIDGE, MA, ONLY COST AROUND $25.

The guy who works here is pretty much the nicest, most helpful person on the planet. During the middle of Christmas rush he stayed open late so that I could ship some big, heavy boxes as part of a cross-country move. He took time to pack them for me (very, very well), stopping at appropriate intervals to help other customers who had less taxing requests. He told me if I have more stuff to ship later in the week I can call him and let him know ahead of time so that he can keep the place open late. To top it all off, he was friendly, courteous, and very professional. Seriously--I wish I had discovered this place years ago.

Pros: professional, friendly, courteous, great packing expertise

Cons: none

Today there was a 20 person line at the post office on Broadway, so I went to Postal Plus, the same place that used to be "That Shop" when I was a kid. From now on, I'm only going there. Friendly service, good deals, and you don't feel rushed to finish your order. Not only do they have everything the post office has, they also have UPS. Compare prices in one store instead of travelling between the post office and UPS to do the math- and get the best deal. Oh, and don't forget some stickers on your way out.

Pros: Fast, friendly, and has been there forever!

What a great service! We received not only a fast service, but a thoughtful advice to save the cost as well. It's the best tiny US Post Office I have ever seen.

from the outside, the post office mixes right into the 15th ave. businesses. inside the post office offers more than just mailing. you will get the greatest service for the best price. office includes fedex and ups for comparison to the us priority mail. wonderful service. two auqariums for those in line to ponder up on. greatly recommended!

impressive postal services, busy shipping & mailing center, with the book rates as the cheapest deal you can get. I do hope around Cambidge here in Boston we have a similar one. avoid between 3:00pm ~ 5:00pm on Mondays & Friday if you can.

Pros: avoid on Mondays & Fridays

Postal Plus, as a post office, really impressed me and my wife with its excellent services and knowledgeable advice about mailing packages worldwide when I mailed an express mail to France last year. A few days ago, it happened that I had to mail a next day mail to Great Britain. He did the right thing for me. My partner got the document on time in UK. And I found out that his name is Ed. a graduate from Ivy Leagues. No wonder.

I really appreciate that when the line is long they make an effort to get people through as fast as possible.
