In Short
Whole Foods is a vegetarian's dream grocery store, with a focus on natural and organic goods and a gargantuan selection of fruits, vegetables and vegan products. But carnivores won't feel neglected, as stores also boast a vast selection of top-quality meats, poultry and fish. Also expect fresh-baked goods, housewares, a floral department and a well-stocked vitamin and personal-product section. Deli offers hot and cold prepared foods and artisanal cheeses.
everything--at a price

this place is clean and offers premium foods at high prices...overall it is a good value--just be prepared to drop a Whole Paycheck on 2 bags of groceries
Great for the health-conscious, vegans, vegetarians, and even you!

What a selection of vegan and vegetarian foods, organic selections of just about everything! The organic meats look great and taste absolutely delicious! Hamburgers with the organic ground they offer are definitely tastier than your standard burger! Lots of great store brand (365) items to save you a little bit of cheese. Oh, the cheese section is fantastic! Bakery has some scrumptious treats your mouth will be watering for and the deli offers some great selections for ready-to-eat items!
- Pros: Great fresh produce, meats, excellent selection
- Cons: "Pricey", there's still not a location up north (a la Edmonds/Lynnwood/Shorelineish area), a bit spendy
The Best Damn Store in Seattle
by benrow77
Whole Foods Market stands head and shoulders above any other grocery store in Seattle. Their Meat Shop is especially nice. All natural meat that is not only appealing, but absolutely amazing. Steaks almost as thick as they are wide, all kinds of sausage, and the best damn acon in the world. I am serious, if you were to put a plate of this stuff on the top of your head, your tongue would beat your brains out trying to get to it. And don't even get me started on the Specialty dept. They have amazing cheeses, an awesome olive bar, and spirits to go with anything. They can match a wine with any cheese, and vice versa. Eight thumbs up.

- Pros: great deli/salad bar, FUN!
- Cons: only one location

This place is so great. Go here and be amazed at the plethora of organic foods down every isle. If you have a pention for dropping mad cash on expensive cuts of meat, cheese, and misc. ingredients, be warned. You will go crazy here.
