3rd time was NOT a charm

Seeing that this restaurant is fairly close to my place, I gave it a second chance after getting great food but terrible service. On the second visit, again, great food but "we're ready to order" didn't mean anything, even after mentioning it several times. Then it took 20 minutes to run a debit which ended up being charged twice. My third and final visit was, again, great food and awful service, with an empty restaurant. I won't be visiting again.
- Pros: food, prices, location
- Cons: poor service, slow service, what service?
Good service, unfortunately mediocre food

My coworkers and I just went by for lunch today for the first time - the service was very attentive, the restaurant was clean, the prices decent, and the view from our table was nice...unfortunately, though, the food just wasn't very tasty. It wasn't horribly bad, per se, but the quality of the ingredients was not very good and it just didn't taste all that great. Seattle is teaming with good Thai restaurants so I don't think that I will be back to this one.
- Pros: Good service, Easy to find parking, Good prices
- Cons: Food not very good
You ought to try it.

I have been dining at Thai On Alki for along time since opening 8 years ago. Food is an excellent and service is good compare to other restaurants. I am so please that we have nice Thai restaurant around neighborhood. I have my forite dishes that I really like are Tom Khar Gai, Garlic Prawn, Chicken Cashew Nuts and many more but Chicken Cashew Nuts is the best because sauce is really tastier than other Thai restaurants. The owner was born in Bangkok therefore; she cooks Bangkok style, which I like it. Further more Thai On Alki has the best view in town, every table has the view of Elliott bay & down town Seattle and the most of all this restaurant has very clean restroom.
- Pros: Good View, Good Service, Inexpensive Foods

This "used" to be a decent Thai restaurant years ago. The seafood isnt fresh & tastes OLD. Go up the hill to Pailin Thai... they are "excellent"!
- Pros: Good Parking
- Cons: Bad Seafood
What service?

I went to eat here with my sister and my 2 year old neice. When the waitress came to take our order, I specifically asked for phad thai noodles without any spice, but yet when the food came, there was pepper sprinkled all over the noodles. Needless to say, my neice couldn't eat the noodles and we were not happy.
- Pros: location
- Cons: service, food
