My girlfriend and I ordered two dishes and an appetizer for takeout from Thai Siam. Having never eaten here before we gave it a shot. I am incredibly disappointed, hence the need to rate and review the place. Princess Rice, Thai Siam curry, and the fresh rolls are what we ordered. All of these are sad examples of what Thai cuisine can be. The fresh rolls aren't even worth mentioning, and the peanut sauce tasted like Skippy. The rice dish was obviously made with canned vegetables and was poorly seasoned- it tasted like oily ketchup on half-cooked rice and microwaved frozen vegetables. The curry was much like the Princess rice in that the ingredients are simply garbage. As for the curry, it was thicker than thick and coconut milk was the only prevalent flavor beside the spices. My girlfriend likes a mild-spiced dish, and although I prefer my food rather hot, the 2 star that we ordered was more like a 4 star. Apparently, the people in the kitchen simply don't have any regard for their customers. If they eat this food at home, I would be completely dumbfounded. It seems that they think they can serve sub-par food to an unknowing customer base simply because they have next to no competition in this neighborhood. I will not recommend this place to anyone.
