To start off, they were two hours late which didn't start the morning off on a great note. They didn't bring a large enough truck and the move was painfully slow. So slow, they had to come back the next work day which caused many scheduling conflicts on our end. And even though I confirmed twice before they left when they would arrive the next day, they still showed up late on day two as well. Due to the lateness of the move, all furniture and beds were left unassembled. When I went to use the washing machine the next day, it too was broken as well as several other kitchen and fragile items. Instead of loading our medium boxes onto dollies like all of our previous movers, they carried things one by one, which again was painfully slow and expensive since we paid by the hour. To top it all off, "Amed" tried overcharging us for both his time and packing supplies so be sure to itemize their expenses to avoid being overcharged. Overall, we were very unhappy with these movers that we chose as a direct result of their rankings here, and do NOT recommend using them for any type of moving services.

I've hired these guys twice. Both times they were prompt, efficient, and friendly. They're the best moving service I've used, and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

I am thoroughly pleased with Sunshine Movers. I found them on Citysearch and didn't have a whole lot of time to shop around for other movers. Sunshine was available when I needed them so I took a chance. I'm glad I did. Emad was professional from beginning to end. He returned calls promptly and answered all of my questions beforehand. The day of the move, they showed up on time and ready to go. Emad and Alex have their system down -- they know how to move and pack their truck efficienctly. They took extra care and specially wrapped my antique pieces. I had some random things that I thought would be difficult to move -- but they said "no problem" and then followed through on all of my special requests. Sure, they took a few cell phone calls (as another review mentioned) but it didn't slow them down overall and I appreciate that they need to take/return calls to keep their business going. I had a ton of stuff and they had to navigate stairs, so it wasn't easy, but they handled everything professionally and courteously. Also, they were honest and fair in quoting/pricing. I highly recommend Sunshine Movers.

I recently used Sunshine Movers after reviewing them and other movers on CitySearch. We interviewed a few runner's up, and found Sunshine Movers to be the most accomodating to us. The fact that they don't nickle & dime you over anything and offer complimentary use of their wardrobe boxes was a big plus. Also, they delivered boxes and packaging material to our home - all of which were very competitively priced. Emad and his crew were very nice, friendly and hard working. I would recommend anyone use Sunshine if you are concerned about your special belongings. They were very gentle with everything, including an antique piece I was especially concerned about. Nothing in my lg. home move was damaged at all. Thanks Sunshine!!!!!

I called this moving company after another company I had scheduled on a Saturday did not show. Amed was polite on the phone, and was able to schedule my office move on a Sunday morning at the last minute. He and his worker were very nice and helpful. They took the office desks apart, put them back together at the new location and repaired some additional bookcases that were constructed improperly through no fault of their own. They were ontime, fast and right on target with their quote. I will use them again.

They charged $85 per hour and said on the phone there would be no fuel charge. They put me in their books for the day AFTER I was scheduled to move, but managed to "fit me in" the day I had scheduled with them. Throughout the day they were on their cell phones, not moving anything. When they were actually moving things they were slow and unorganized. They managed to not break anything, which I will give them credit for. At the end of the day it took many hours longer than I had anticipated (I've moved many times am pretty well aware of how long it takes with two people) and they tried to charge me the fuel charge. In the end the owner removed the fuel fee. Overall, I would not recommend these guys. Unless you like paying hourly for SLOW movers.

Setting up and appointment with them was easy. They called the morning of the move to confirm and let me know they were on their way. Emad and Alex were fast and efficient workers. I highly recommend Sunshine Movers as a nice, reliable, and hard working small moving company.

Just moved. Enrique and Imad were excellent. I would highly recommend them. Excellent in terms of the actual move. My only minor complaint is that they were delayed in coming to my house by traffic and another job.
