VERY good!

by jwb71

We LOVE this place! The service is great the food is delicious and we always have a good time there! We have started going almost weekly! My FAVORITE chicken fajitas come from here, I have had mexican food all over the country and no fajitas even compare! If you are looking for a friendly restaurant with great service, good drinks, and delicious food, this is the spot :0)

  • Pros: delicious food, great service, friendly atmosphere!
  • Cons: awkward to access heading south on 15th, and thats it!

Average Mexican Food

by desireedralle

My boyfriend and I just went here today for lunch. The service was excellent, definitely can't complain about that. I had shrimp fajitas (this is what I order at every Mexican restaurant I go to) and my boyfriend had carne asada. We thought the food was alright, not horrible, but not great. Also, the chips were stale. We definitely wouldn't spend our money here again though.

  • Pros: Excellent Service
  • Cons: Food is average, chips stale

Great Mexican Food

by stevebugge

Ok so the building isn't all that impressive, the seats are a little uncomfortable, and the steeply sloped parking lot can be a challenge. However once you have the food every single one of these challenges will have been worth it. Fajitas are the star at La Palma, the Enchiladas are excellent too. Be warned this isn't health food, the food is good because they use liberal amounts of salt and lard. The staff is friendly and attentive, even when it's busy, as it frequently was during the World Cup. The good food and low prices have combined to make La Palma a regular lunch stop for me.

  • Pros: Good Food, Friendly Staff, Value Prices
  • Cons: Parking can be tricky, Stairs may make access difficult for some

  • Pros: Exellent food, very frendly staff
  • Cons: poor parking

Top 3 in Seattle

by jookyg

I can't decide the best Mexican restaurant in Seattle, but La Palma definitely makes the top 3. The food and atmosphere are exactly what we Americans have come to expect from our Mexican restaurants--how authentic it really is, I'm not sure. But in the tradition of the best classic Ameri-Mexican restaurants, you can wear the big sombrero on your birthday and have your picture taken.

  • Pros: Excellent food, Reasonable prices
  • Cons: Kinda out of the way

Best Chimichangas in Town!

by kirsten

Although I have only been to LaPalma a few times, I have to say the service and food are fantastic. I love the chimichangas, they are by far superior. My only regret is that I didn't try them sooner, the bldg. is less than impressive, but isn't that where the best food is?
