Tried and True

We have brought our used items to Consign Design for 9 years now and have been paid well.

I am still enjoying my deep espresso leather sofa with riveted arm s 6 years later and the wide-eye I get when I tell people " Consign Design".

Fun Store!

I have consigned and also purchased at this store over several years. It is easy to find, parking lot, honest people and interesting and unusual pieces at reasonable prices. I have recommended this store to many of my friends. Enjoy! Renee

Consign Design

My wife and I have been fans and customers of Consign Design for a number of years.

The eclectic selection of high quality merchandise is first class and intriguing, and it turns over quickly enough that there are always new treasures and good bargains to discover. This is a great shop to search for unique home or office furnishings. The staff is knowledgeable in design, warm, friendly and professional.

We most definitely recommend a visit to Consign Design.

Awesome furniture, treasures, and service!

I just moved to Seattle from Michigan, along with my brother, his girlfriend, and two of their friends from NYC. None of us came with any furniture. Consign Design was recommended to us by an acquaintance, so we checked it out and LOVE it! John and Sarah were so kind, helpful, and offered SUCH FAIR PRICES! I bought my couch and a beautiful coffee table there for an amazing deal. What a find! The place is huge and there are treasures hidden EVERYWHERE! Great selection of unique furniture and the staff is eager to agree on a reasonable price. John helped us load everything into our car and was funny and kind the whole way.

This a fabulous local business to support--I know we will be going back many, many more times to continue furnishing all of our new homes!

Good buys and great selling

This is a unique place with both new and old good condition furnishings and art work. They are excellent at selling as well as great place to buy the type of furniture you may want and the selection is constantly changing.

My friend just got a tiffany style lamp for a steal there.

It is fun simply to just see their latest selections. I love this place! I have sold a lot of my moms unneeded but nice furnishings. Its a good place to take things and get some money back. Also if you just want to change out of your current furnishings without going broke trying. If you like variety and non boring - go here!

Good team - nice staff - keep up the good work - stay in business! Support local entreprenuers!!!

Great Selection, Great Prices, Friendly Service

I found Consign Design about 7 years ago. I hadn't been in in quite a few years, so decided to check it out one day while driving by. I forgot what cool things they have....and what a great selection! I was in a few weeks ago, and came back today to see if they still had a chair I was eyeing. They sold it, but I bought another one at a fabulous price. I couldn't believe the selection of new things they had. Note to self: Buy it if you like it, or it will be gone!! Great customer service! Lance and John were very friendly and helped me find what I was looking for!! A++

Fantastic for buying and selling

These guys offer a good service.

Selling furniture through them is easier and more profitable than using craigslist. They take care of the pieces and showcase them well.

My wife and I have bought several items here and we always feel it was a good deal. The only drawback (or you might think it’s a plus!) is that you might have to come back to browse a few times to find the thing you’re looking for.

I LOVE this place!

I listed quite a few pieces of furniture on Craigslist. After a flood of emails, many no-shows on meetings, and ridiculous low ball offers, I made not one sale. All together, if I had sold everything on Craigslist, I would have made a grand total of $175. I priced things really low. Still, not one sale.

I had browsed at Consign Design before but was leary of their percentage take. I thought if I sold through a consignment shop, after their take, it would leave me with about $50 from all this great furniture. How wrong I was! I just picked up a check for $220, and that is after my first check of $75. Even after their percentage take, I still made way more than I would have off of Craigslist, and I didn't have to do a thing!

If and when I decide to change my decor again, everything is going to Consign Design. I love this place!

I am sorry to hear about the one CitySearcher's bad experience of the shop not accepting his piece of furniture, but personally, I appreciate the shop accepting only furniture that is in good shape. It means they have a happy clientele that will return time and time again. That means those of us that do have good quality things to sell have plenty of shoppers coming through Consign Design because they know they will only find good quality goods. Keep it up Consign Design!

Holy Smokes - WHAT SERVICE!!!!

sarah and lance rock the house! they are true professionals and could not have been better for our carloads of furniture, furnishings etc. Sitting in the loading bay for several minutes, I was astounded by the complete customer service of everyone entering and exiting this place - even the ones "just looking". Their prices and process are fair and made it more worthwhile than craigslist or garage sale. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Consign Design is it!

Great furniture!

The placement of the furniture is perfect. Excellent prices and the knowledgeable design staff is key (Sarah:), and a fabulous upholsterer on site(Bob). Consignment does not get better than this!

• Cons: I buy something every time I go :)
