Chill by Alicia A. at InsiderPages

Cyclops is a chill hang out. There are some booths and a few tables, not a lot of room overall, but enough to provide a good atmosphere. On the weekends it gets pretty busy and the vibe is upbeat especially at night. Otherwise, the menu is quite varied and offers a little something for everyone. They have good brunch and appetizers. The drinks aren't too expensive for Seattle.
Breakfast All Day!

This is a comfortable bar/restaurant that serves breakfast all day. Since I am a big fan of breakfast and I usually can't make it to a restaurant before 3pm on weekends, this was a treasure for me. The breakfast is just fine. Unlike the other reviewer I thought the service was good. You can't expect white-tablecloth service at a diner, but our waiters have been friendly and attentive. I like the interior design. The bloody Mary's were ok.
- Pros: breakfast all day, good prices, nice interior
My Not-So-Secret Secret Breakfast Spot

I love Cyclops when I get a last minute urge to get some breakfast food on Saturday morning. I've never had to wait for a table though the service on coffee refills is a bit lacking. The Italiano Omellete and Migas are delicious. They also have the standard eggs and bacon for those with a not-so-curious pallette. Parking is sometimes tight but you can generally find parking a couple blocks down the hill on Elliott and Wall.
- Pros: Good breakfast, Never wait for a table
- Cons: Slower service

Best food & bar for locals in belltown

I find my self going back to the Cylops, after years of not going, mostly because of my objection to what Belltown has become, a giant mecca of posers, hipsters & one big meat market for amatures. But gosh darn every time I re-visit the Cyclops I always go away saying I need to come here more often. Try the ravioli on the menu, and then take a look at the fresh sheet. I had the Ahi carpacio with pineapple sambal. Yum!!
This funky Belltown classic sings a siren song to seekers of ambrosial cocktails and eclectic Latin food.

The Scene
Under the unblinking eye awaits a slice of old-school Belltown: Sparkly, retro vinyl booths contrast with mythological paintings, funky mosaic counters and attitude-free servers who make up in sweetness what they sometimes lack in professional talent. Both fell-out-of-bed casual and black-tie formal are equally at home. Early diners will enjoy a quiet meal; the later it gets, the louder and more crowded it gets
The Food
Sturdy dishes like moderately spicy chipotle-glazed pork chop are prettied up with colorful sauces and gleaming vegetables. Every side dish is perfection, from the crunchy apple slaw to the garlicky mixed greens to the fragrant blue-cheese mashed potatoes. Weekend brunch offers excellent omelettes and home fries, but avoid the bland coconut-mango French toast.

I like Cyclops, it is a tad too crowded (weekends) for me as a drinking spot, but it is great for breakfast or for drinks during the week. The breakfast food is really good and is interesting. They have a lot of food for vegetarians / vegans and interesting takes on tradiditional breakfast.
- Pros: Atmosphere-, Food, Service
- Cons: Crowds
A Welcome reprieve!

Ahhhh...step into Cyclops and reduce the sophmoric tensions and LA buzz of the Belltown Elites right away. This place is serious...This is exactly the type of place people in New York and LA hang out in, all the while the youngsters and hipster wannabe's (poor guys) malinger around the "scene" outside. Great staff, stiff drinks, great food and an overall hip vibe/scene that's more sophisticated than most...this place and Belltown Pizza across the st. are great spots on a friday/saturday night...

I find this one of the most easy going bars in Belltown, no expectations, nobody looking down there nose at you.
Food is okay, nothing stellar, service is okay to bad. Atmosphere is good.
- Pros: Atmosphere, Food, Deck
- Cons: Service
Quintessential Rude Server Experience

The Cyclops has a nice urban atmosphere - cool decor, funky and relaxed. The food was good, better than expected. (I love pulled pork and theirs lived up to my standards!) However, the service was so bad that it was funny. Last night our waitress seemed highly irritated to be working; after we waited for what seemed an awfully long time she literally threw our menus onto the table, took her sweet time getting us drinks, slammed them and condiments down and totally lacked politeness. I've worked the service industry myself and am a very easy and pleasant customer - this experience was surreal. Will not be going there while she's working!
- Pros: great french fries, good location, nice decor
- Cons: horrible service
