A Little Pricey but it is Beautiful

by calql8ted at Citysearch

Took my wife here for our anniversary and she has bugged me to go back for the last two anniversaries.... If I didnt say something nice about this hotel she would kill me. They do have some rooms though a hit to the budget that are well worth the night... Gorgeous view of the Puget Sound...

NOT a luxury hotel!!!

by missmockingbird at Citysearch

This is not a luxury hotel. The registration and lobby areas look like those in a luxury hotel but that is where the good looks stop. Once you get above the first floor this is not any better than a 2 star hotel. The wallpaper, carpet, drapes, bedspread etc. are outdated and downright ugly. If you pay full price for this hotel you will be disappointed. The parking garage does not have an elevator; so, you have to pay for valet parking or carry your luggage up and down the stairs yourself. If you use a debit card to pay they charge you and extra $50 per night for "incidentals" and then "refund" it to you later. On the plus side: The rooms are clean. Some of the rooms have very good views of the Space Needle. The location is excellent if you are travelling from a city and are used to walking around. The downtown shopping area is within 2 blocks and the hipper Belltown area is within 4 blocks. The concierge is helpful and knowledgable. There is both a market and a movie theatre across the street. I really wouldn't have any complaints about the hotel if it were marketed for what it really is, a nice 2.5 star hotel. I would stay there again if I got a room discount because the location is so excellent.

  • Pros: Location, Service, Cleanliness
  • Cons: no elevator in parking garage, undisclosed extra charges at check-in, shabby interior

You can't judge a hotel by its cover--this hotel offers luxury rooms with a smashing view.

The Scene
This full-service Belltown hotel may not have much curb appeal, but the inside is a different story. Besides having a cozy, comfortable lobby with a warm fireplace, it has an abundance of friendly people waiting to greet you at the front desk. The establishment is popular with Europeans, who are more familiar with the French-owned hotel chain than Americans are. The hotel emphasizes the service offered by its experienced, highly knowledgeable staff.

The Details
Most of the 230 rooms have either a king bed with a seating area or two double beds. All have armoires with TVs and floor-to-ceiling windows with small balconies. High-speed Internet access is available for a fee. North-facing rooms offer views of the Space Needle, Seattle Center and Lake Union.

Class Act

This was my wifes and I's first vist to Seattle. And from the moment we arrived at the Hotel we were impressed with everything this Hotel had to offer. Helpful service, great Downtown location, and the views of the Space Neddle were incredible. The rooms were very comfortable, the marble floors in the bathrooms were always heated! We just wanted to say thanks and would recommend this not only to our friends but for other visits to the Seattle area!

doesn't honor reservation's price

by shakie at Citysearch

Made a reservation using the 50% Entertainment book discount (mentioned at time of reservation) and when we went to check in, they said they haven't honored that for weeks. So we cancelled the room before we found out that there was a huge convention in town that took over all the hotels in the area, and we had to cut our vacation short. The Warwick apparently thinks a few bucks (from milking conventioneers) is worth ticking off a few Entertainment book users. Definitely not 3 star material to me...pretty sleazy IMHO.

EXCELLENT DOWNTOWN HOTEL

by jeffashton at Citysearch

If you need to stay in downtown Seattle this upscale hotel is the place to be. While not always perfect, it is generally offers the best accomodations at the best price with a very convenient location between downtown and Belltown. Ask for a high floor with a view of the space needle! If you desire to splurge their suites are fabulous!

memorble

by bigda at Citysearch

Never been to Seattle. Staff was friendly, helpful, prompt and courteous. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Mentioned at in making reservation that this was a trip to celebrate our 25th. Without prompting we received complimentary champagne. Use of 24 hour courtesy van was a nice touch. In the 2 1/2 days we were in town the Warwick set the tone for an excellent time. Many thanks!

  • Pros: staff, view from room, location
  • Cons: bed was ok

Outstanding

by wagnontj at Citysearch

My girlfriend and I just stayed there for our anneverseary and it was amazing, the staff was incredibly helpful. Take advantage of the courtsey van service which can take you all anywhere downtown and back. Also try for the rooms on the higher floors, the view gets better and better as you head up. Not to mention prime location in downtown.

  • Pros: Helpful staff, courtsey van, Location
