I thought I was going to save some money because Elephant car wash offers pretty good deals for car cleaning but I was wrong. I was expecting a lot more for the $85 that I paid. I wanted them to clean my car's interiors and they did a really bad job. I could have done the same thing at home. I don't even know if they use the vacuum cleaner!!! I talk to the guy and he said that the car was ready and that there was nothing else to do. I called the main office in Auburn and the manager who talked to me was not friendly. They don't do money refunds even when the customers are not happy. These people DO NOT know what good customer service is. In addition the waiting area is dirty!!

I took my car there on a Sunday and they said the car was going to be ready in approximately one hour so I decided to go for a cup of coffee and wait. I waited for about two hours and at the end the car was not completely clean. I tried to talk to a manager but it looks like nobody has authority there. The employees work without supervision. Awful customer service!!!

Pros: None

Cons: Bad customer service, no experience in car exterior or interior cleaning

I'm really disappointed with the customer service provided by Elephant Car wash. I took my car to this place to clean the front seat since one of my friends was sick and threw up inside the car. I called Elephant and explained the situation to them and asked if they had experience in detail car cleaning; they said "Yes" so I took my car there. The employees looked at the car and asked me to go back in an hour. When I got there my car had a really bad smell and there was still residues on the seat, carpet and seat belt. I wanted to talk to a manager but nobody was there to help me. So, I took the car back he following day to ask them to clean it again or do something and they said there was nothing else to do. They charged me almost $100 and I ended up taking the car to another car wash to clean it again. I called Elephant customer service department to ask for a refund and the manager said there was nothing to do since they don't give money back to unsatisfied customers. Elephant does not have any manager at the place, the employees are irresponsible and rude. In summary, they are not customer oriented at all. If you ever need to clean your car don't even think about taking your car here because they just want to take your money and they don't care if you are satisfied or not!!! I would much rather pay a little bit more in other car wash than going to Elephant where the chances of getting a bad service are extremelly high!

Pros: None

Cons: Bad customer service, no experience in car detailing or interior cleaning

I used to take my car to the Pink Elephant occasionally in college and felt that they were fast but thorough. This was back in the early 90's. I'm back in town now and VERY disappointed. Last week, I had a discount coupon so I paid for one of the bigger cleaning packages. I also asked for the mats to be washed and the trunk vacuumed. After what seemed like just a few minutes, the guy waved his rag at me to say they were done. I got into the car after tipping the guy, only to find a dirty rag on the floor, my oil change sticker in the middle of a still dirty windshield, the mats not done and the trunk untouched. The dashboard didn't look like it had been cleaned and the center console was dusty. I basically felt like I had just paid $30+tip for some guy to drive my car through an automatic car wash. Don't waste your money. Drive your car through a gas station car wash yourself for only 5 or 6 bucks!

Pros: friendly service, fast

Cons: overpriced, minimum cleaning

Is Elephant Car Wash. I've gone to them several times (with a Val-Pack discount), with a pretty messy car. Elephant's staff did a great job in getting my 10-year old car in top shape, cleaning the carpets, the exterior, surfaces, even the niches in the back (like cup holders). Their staff were friendly and fast. Great value.

Pros: Value, Quick, Detailed

I wouldn't mind paying $16 for the occassional thorough car wash and vacuum if they did a really great job, but they don't. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't $16 worth of cleaning. True, my car was a mess after camping, but that's why I took it to the professionals instead of cleaning it myself. The inside floor was pretty clean, but they didn't vacuum the trunk or wipe the dashboard or any of the smaller details that make a difference.

Pros: friendly staff

Cons: expensive
