There's a BMW for everyone - not snobby at all

I am currently in my second lease with BMW of Seattle. Have had great customer experience with them. Have leased a 5-series and Z4 coupe. Cars have been excellent - marvels of engineering. At first I was scared of going to BMW because I am a younger customer and thought they might be unwilling to work with my budget. That was not the case. They got me just the car I wanted, did not pressure me at all, and actually asked me "are you sure you want this car" because the Z4 isn't for everyone. Having recently been to another delearship for an SUV purchase, I found that BMW of Seattle has raised the bar and will not leave you with a typical feeling of car buying regret.
- Pros: Great customer care; great cars; exceptional and consisent service
- Cons: Smaller dealership (they're building a new HQ)

I scheduled appointment with 1 of their managers to actually choose a car to buy and when I arrived to the dealership nobody waited for me, after some time he appeared and told me that he can't be with me right now. As appeared later he have got richer client 15 min before I arrived. I'll never ever will go to this dealer. This attitude is not acceptable for me.

BMWs are known for Service and BMW seattle provides best service.
Good thing about them is that I can drop my car as early as 6 am. Staff is friendly and I had a very good experience though I havnt purchased car from them.
I would recomend this dealer for service to all BMW owners!

I purchased an older BMW but with low miles and excellent maintenance. When I took it in the 1st time I asked them to check out the transmission warning I had received, do the oil change and also replace some bulbs in the interior and check out the electrical. They replaced the bulbs had no answer for the transmission and thought the electrical was okay. They did not put the interior panels in the back of my car back in place and there was evidence that things stowed in the back had been tossed around, they did not reset the convenience lights that let you know when you need an oil change. This all cost just over $1000. Next time I took it in was again an electrical issue. Now the car was blowing a fuse each time I turned my headlights on, my gauge lights went out. Took it back and $519. later it was explained that they had found 4 wires that were bad and had repaired them, NOW they tell me that these older cars a lot of times need a new wiring harness (approx $2000.) Now my trunk lid on my wagon pops up each time I turn my head lights on! When I called for help the only option I was given was the new wiring harness that I feel should have been suggested in the first place! Instead of charging me for patch jobs! If they know something like the wiring is a problem, why not bring it up in the beginning? At least that way the owner of the vehicle has the option of having it checked 1st, or trying the patchwork option.

I had my car serviced at BMW Seattle twice. First time, the wait was 5 times longer than promised, and then they gave my car away to a wrong person. And they weren't even similar cars! The service manager sorted things out, so I was dumb enough to go there again. this time the wait was 3 times longer than anticipated, and they messed up my door lock switch. All that for $105 an hour.
PROS: Good service manager and one of the advisors.
CONS: Some employees are quite incompetent.

I had a problem that was difficult to fix and required a part that needed ordering. The delay could have been very inconvenient but BMW provided me with a loaner car during the entire period so there was no problem. I really appreciated the way they treat customers.

I took my BMW in and had a service advisor tell me excactly what I needed. He spent time going over all the possible costs and outcomes, which I really appreciated. This is not always done at auto repair shops.

BMW Seattle is one of the only dealerships in the area that treats it's customers really well, even after the deal is done! We bought our car five years ago and the salesmen still remember us and chat with us whenever we bring our car in. The service department is simply the best - repairs are completed professionally and quickly!
