A couple of friends of mine introduced me to Rosebud Restaurant & Bar several months ago. From my first visit, I was so impressed with the quiet, cozy, unpretensous atmosphere that I knew I'd be back! Not only do I return on a regular basis, but I've introduced scores of others to this "little jewel" and I have always received a gracious "thanks for the introduction" from my "Rosebud Virgins." The dining room is perfect for chatting with friends...lovers...or business associates. The food is stellar. I understand that Rosebud has a new chef whose last gig was with Wolfgang Puck. I loved the food before the new chef arrived; I love it even more now. It's a combo of art and gastronomical delight. Servings are "Euro size." The service is friendly, professional and unhurried. The chicken breast is amazing; and the chocolate brioche is magic. If you haven't tried this remarkable establishment, do so. I can see why it was voted "Most Romantic Restaurant in Seattle." Be sure to ask your server about getting on Rosebud's newsletter list for complimenatary recipes, special events and wonderful offers. I was hesitant to sign up at first, but I'm glad I did. Rosebud doesn't share its e-mail list with others.
Pros: Excellent dining experience and friendly, professional service; check out Roman, the Fri/Sat night bartender!
