Century ballroom is fabulous, diverse, simply great. If you're looking for a casual (but possibly formal) spot to let loose and dance the night away, this is it. The crowd ranges from young teens to those pushing 100, and everyone in between. Some come in jeans and sneakers, others in heels and dresses, suits, retro attire - anything goes. Check out their shedule online, they have a variety of events and classes to suit everyone. I would reccomend sunday night swing - it's usually not too crowded, and parking is easy to find. If you come at 9 (dancing starts at 9:30) you can get a table and a free begginer's lesson, very helpful for the first-timer. The ballroom itself is old-style glamour, with a beautiful chandellier, velvet curtains, and a charming balcony. Check out Century - it's a great place to meet new people. You won't be dissapointed.
- Pros: , Inexpensive, Atmosphere
- Cons: Sometimes crowded, Parking
This romantic club is ideal for salsa- and swing-dancing beginners and experts alike.

The Scene
Beautiful women and men of all ages make up the crowd, and the vibe is simply joyous and pressure-free--absolutely no boundaries apply. It's your choice whether to show off your technique, or just grab a candlelit table by the floor to watch the flurry of feet.
The Draw
A spacious, well-run club that pays attention to detail, the Century has become a first-class salsa, swing and Lindy Hop joint bringing top-notch bands from across the nation and even, on special occasions, from Cuba. But even on DJ nights (Thursdays and Saturdays for salsa), this combination bar-restaurant-dance club easily brings in hundreds of sexy dancers and diners who come to enjoy the classic cocktails and the short, sweet menu--don't miss deliciously smoky, three-cheese enchiladas rojas.
