Best Brunch in Town!
by emichaelh
As I walked into Martin's, hungover as all hell and thinking that it would be a great place to not be seen, I was not expecting much. All the servers were walking around in utili-kilts- -something I never thought I would see in a gay establishment- I'll leave it at that. I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy, and my friend had the Eggs Benedict...both the best we've ever had! I have brunched all over the world, and this was the best. Not pretentious... just delicious! I will be there every sunday from now on, as my search for the best brunch in town is over.
- Pros: Great place to not run into pretentious hipsters, amazing brunch.
- Cons: Tacky Utili-kilts
Very cozie, and I loved the live piano!

I don't call myself an expert at anything, but I had great time at this place. Wandered there after chop suey, and got quite a nice surprise. It was calm, cozie, and they were still serving food. So then I got to keep my drink going, eat, and chill out with some live piano.

Friendly neighborhood Capitol Hill bistro offers steak, seafood and an array of cocktails accompanied by live grand piano.
Best Bartenders on the Hill
by shadyuno
Well... I was a bartender at The Seawolf and then stayed on board through the transition to The Full Circle Bar & Grill. I left just before it became Martin's Off Madison but I still visit the establishment every time I'm in Seattle. Marty has done a great job transforming Martin's into a wonderful place to meet with friends or bring a date. I know all of the bartenders personally and have not a bad thing to say about any of them. If you were ever curious about the atmosphere before it became Martins but were too scared to go in due to the crazy crowd of regulars that used to be inside. Fear no more... the crowd is pleasant to be around and the service you will receive is phenominal. Three Cheers for Martin's Off Madison! Hoo Raa!
- Pros: Great Service... Great Food.... Great Place to be!
- Cons: Parking on the street. (Hard to find)
Great food, service and ambience!!!

Martin has created a Gem on Capitol Hill! Having been there several times before for drinks and appetizers with friends, I took a date to Martins Off Madison on Friday (over the Memorial weekend) and had a great night out. This restaurant has everything from the live Grand Piano (played beautifully by pianist Joseph Rojo); the Cyclone fireplace; the reflection pool alongside the dining room wall; to the candles all around the restaurant creating a lovely atmosphere. I started with the Grilled Romaine Salad and had the Beef Tenderloin entree, while my date stated with the Panzanella Salad and had the Jumbo Prawn Linguine entree. All were prepared to perfection. The service was attentive and relaxed. The ambience and food is just a must!!! I look forward to another wonderful experience. 10/10!
- Pros: Great food & happy hour, live music nightly, very friendly staff
- Cons: Parking on the street can be a challenge.
Great Neighbourhood Bistro!

What a treat to have Martin's within walking distance of our house. The food is caringly crafted with tasty, fresh ingredients, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. There are a string of fine pianists that appear nightly, on a rotating basis, free of charge. Service is top notch at Martin's, and special requests are "no problem." The cozy, dimly-lit bar is has it's own personality, and is frequented by loads of very fun and friendly regulars. Martin's Off Madison is a great place to stop by on your way home from a hectic day, enjoy weekend brunch with friends and family, or take your sweetheart for a romantic date. The crowd is interesting and diverse, and everybody loves Marty! Do yourself a favour, and check Martin's out tonight.
- Pros: Fabulous Food, Great Value, Super Service
Definitely not a "club".

This place is really chill. People call it a gay bar, but I really consider it a bar for everyone.
