YES YES YES LINDA'S TAVERN ATMOSPHERE
by ultron
YES! YES! YES! TO LINDA'S TAVERN!
Me and My Darling Spidey and I hung out on the deck and ate sliders (keep them coming) , fries , crown and coke - THE BARTENDER's Original American name is translated into English as "MAKES GREAT DRINKS", We had a merry time, everyone was so nice and nobody gave us attitude, fellow patrons were friendly, nobody was rude or asked for autographs, and you still find the washroom after kicking back a few. THERE IS NO PLACE WE WOULD RATHER BE to be seen and be casual in Emerald City. It is the only place We would recommend. The Last place Kurt Cobain was seen in public..
- Pros: Casual Get together on the Hill
- Cons: we can't stay forever
Hipster bar accomodates regular peoples
by kindofamused
Don't get me wrong; I really do love Linda's for all that it is. But if you have a hard time with hipsters, and I mean the ULTRA-hip hipsters, this might not be the right place for you. Faux-"lodgie" atmosphere is warm and comfortable (and hip). Kitchen provides tasty fare to match. Beers are ALWAYS of the most superior quality (the friendly bartenders will usually let you taste before you buy). If it's too crowded inside, head out back; and if it's chilly, crank on one of the propane heaters (you don't ACTUALLY need to ask the bartender to do it for you). The bouncer is usually overly smug (one drunken evening I was denied entrance because I fumbled when presenting my ID). All in all, Linda's is awesome. I've been there on 1 star nights and I've been there on 5 star nights. Give it a try!
- Pros: Great beer on tap. 7-9 happy hour.
- Cons: Frequently overcrowded.
RUDE!
by lesliechristison
When the bartender is rude and condescending about your drinks and all you want to do is give her your money to enjoy your refreshing shots but she wants to keep running her mouth, thats not my idea of a good bartender. Not to mention the bouncer was rude as well and as a heads up just make sure you dont open the door too hard because or else they will rip you a new one. Their slogan goes something like nice place for nice people! THATS A LAUGH!
Terrible bar, rude service, overpriced drinks

Three drinks at Linda's: $46. Crappy bar, dirty, rude service. At close the bouncer screamed repeatedly to get everyone out. Not my idea of a fun time.

Relax at Linda's
by aleksandr111
Linda?s is great. It can get crowded sometimes so have a back up plan. But for those quiet days you want a burger and a nice spot to hang out with friends ? can?t beat it. The food isn?t bad and is a good value for what you get. The beer is always awesome and they have great selection. The patio out back is the place to be on a sunny day. Service can be a bit slow sometimes, but it?s a feature ? you?re there to relax!
- Pros: So relaxing
- Cons: crowded at night - because it's popular, duh!
always packed
by kimberlic
Must be great because every time we show up there's nowhere to sit. What time do those Friday and Saturday night customers actually arrive in order to get a table?
- Pros: hoppin atmosphere
- Cons: too hoppin to get in
Great atmosphere and rocky music!
by bc173
I had a great time at Linda's. The place was packed with shiny happy people and the rocky music made it a very vibrant experience. This is a great bar to hang out with a large group of friends. Order some pitchers and exchange some great stories!
- Pros: Great atmosphere, loads of people!
- Cons: Sometimes the music was a bit too heavy
Beer and smoking just like the old days
by dudeonthehill
I love the new larger outdoor area. But, the best part is the smoking room they have. I think beer and cig's go together. Hanging out in the back is like being in your high school parking lot with all the "bad Kids". Very easy to make conversation with anybody out there.
