great food at a reasonable price
by eseverino
Was driving around the area and decided to stop in with my wife for lunch. We ordered the crab bisque soup along with the bacon wrapped scallops. We were in heaven. Not only was the seafood good, but the mashed potatoes were delicious. They put carmalized onions and crumbled blue cheese on top, it was definitely unique, but nonetheless fantastic. Further, the prices were reasonable especially for the quality you get. I know where I am going to eat the next time I am in the neighborhood.
- Pros: bacon wrapped scallops are to die for

WORST DINING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!
by Jessicaaaj
One of the WORST dining experiences I've EVER had. The steamed clams we had as appetizers were good, our meals were mediocore. The halibut and chips was definitely not worth $12. However, the food was not nearly as disappointing as the service. Our server, I believe his name was William, seemed at first nice and enthusiastic. So friendly when seating us and so proficcient at spouting off the day's specials that we thought he was perhaps the manager. However, once we ordered our meals--both being affordable (under $13 each), none of the specials he spent 5 minutes telling us about--his attitude completely changed to being extremely HOSTILE and AGGRAVATED. From that point on he treated us more like an inconvenience than customers. Everything he brought to our table was thrown down carelessly, he didn't respond to any of our "pleases" and "thank yous", never once checked on us to see if we needed anything else, didn't ask how our food was until he had to come clear our table because we were done eating, and didn't once make eye contact with us. It became obvious that the only people getting good service were the one's spending more money as we could hear the 2 tables next to us ordering the specials of the day. He literally gave verbal praise on their choices- "Nice choice! It's our best!" While we had to wait 5 minutes just to get our check. The funny thing is, when we were looking at the menu and deciding, we realized we didn't want anything fancy but WERE planning on returning in the future. That's a big negative now. I can honestly say it was the most awkward, unpleasant, and completely hostile service I've ever received at a restaurant. MAYBE YOU SHOULD TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS NICER. YOU SHARE A PARKING LOT WITH JIFFY LUBE, HOW FANCY AND UPSCALE DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU ARE?
- Pros: Good steamer clams
- Cons: HOSTILE SERVICE, overpriced food
Don't waste your money
by seattlegoer
Way overpriced for the nasty food. Our food was over-fried, our beers were flat, and we both later had stomach aches. Our bill was almost $50 for two people (with only 2 beers). We were so disappointed as we were looking forward to trying it.
- Pros: Quick seating
- Cons: Food quality, dirty feeling ambiance
Trash in a shell
by vfc
Maybe the usual chef had been in a car accident that night we went, but everything at SCC failed miserably. The appetizer platter was a uniform deep fried orange with all the flavors being the exact same. The crab cake was mush. The entrees were stale, butterflavored and overpriced. Even my heffeweisen was wrong.
Do not waste your money.

Fast-food Quality at High Prices
by brenthawkinsmd
This is owned by Skippers. The quality is reminiscent of 70's seafood; bad and fried. Only at CitySearch can a bad restaurant get a good average.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Food Quality is a real issue.
Love that Salmon pasta!
by togiak
Copper river salmon was terrific sad that it's only once a year. Salmon pasta is excellent with great portion size. The chowder is also exceptional. Great job by the staff they really took care of us.
- Pros: Portion size, Chowder, Wait staff
Seattle Crab Co.
by lld
Decent food at okay prices. The crab bisque is outstanding and their best dish in my opinion. Blackened cod is also tasty, keep and eye out for the specials. The wacky crab shell with faces on them all over the walls were a little creepy, but they have since taken some of them down, so I no longer feel like I am being watched all the time. Decor is funky and entertaining.
- Pros: crab bisque, good parking
Overpriced Seafood
by aesob
Food was ok. At least it was cooked. Overpriced though, and what cheesy décor...complete with plastic sea creatures, it's like eating in a warehouse complete with the cement floors. The wait staff was thoroughly idiotic, teenagers who'd rather work food service than retail, I guess. Don't go in search of good seafood on Northgate, go west, young man! Try Ballard or go downtown. 'Nuff said.
Great Crab Bisque!
by shoppingqueen
I love this place! They have fantastic salads and the Crab Bisque is to die for - the Clam Chowder ain't bad either. The warm crab appetizer is great and the funky decor keeps you amused between courses.
- Pros: Great Bisque, Good Parking, Great Decor
