On our never ending search for the perfect sandwich, my husband and I went last weekend after viewing what others had to say. I had a meatball sub (med) and he had a "works" (lrg). I really enjoyed mine. I'm a bread person and it was quite crisp. Not too much sauce either...just how I lke it. The med was more a large too. I couldn't finish it and I can eat. My husband wasn't too impressed with his. He just said it was average. He is not a bread person though and he felt there was just too much...I will drag him back though. Oh yeah, music way to loud for a little place like that.

Pros: bread, portion size

Cons: music

I just went for the first time today, and I'll never go to subway or quizno's again! The menu is awesome, and the employees were really friendly and helped me figure out which sandwich was right for me. It's a little expensive, but worth every penny!

Pros: Great food, great service

Cons: A little expensive, hard to find parking

I've been in the restaurant industry for many years and to be more specific, I've been in the tipping industry even longer. It's in my best interest to study my customers on character, tone, appearance, style, and manner to ensure good experiences for them and gratuity for me. Unfortunately it goes the other way when I am the customer, I study my providers. I've been in multiple times before. For some reason I went in Tubs one day and felt completely disgusted after I had left. It wasn't by the place's sanitation, or the food that was packaged for me that I left with, but it was that feeling of being mistreated. My schooling and experience on serving people have given me a heightened sense of the proper etiquette that should be administered. I know I can but shouldn't: slouch when being spoken to, shove a card back to it's owner, avoid eye contact, and put things down in a hurriedly or hostile fashion, which is what I saw. What got to me was that I had already placed my order, paid for my order, and waited 4 minutes to see my order being finished up, then I got to watch a couple (of different ethnicity than I) who came in 5 minutes after I had, watched them order, and after they waited 5 minutes they received their sandwiches and left. After they ordered I watched another man (also a different ethnicity than I but same as the couple prior) pay and 2 minutes later got his sandwiches and left. After another 4 minutes of waiting and another customer ordering, and the person who took my order standing and talking for a good 2 minutes to another employee making sandwiches, the person who took my order must have said “Its time to give you your sandwich.” Ethnicity shouldn't have played a role but based on the factors that I look young (like the people who made my sandwiches) for my age, dress loose (when I'm not working I like to wear loose clothing), and finally that I still tip to give the benefit of the doubt, so I can't see where their excuse would be.

Pros: Good sandwiches

Cons: My experience had an employee with a bad judge of character or something worse

Well, as anyone will tell you, the ingredients, quality, menu, etc. Is unsurpassable, and with no one even in the same league... it's a sure thing, it is the best around. But if you get to know the people who work there, it is that much better. The Friendly faces and greeting every time I go into this establishment is better than any fine dining I've ever been to. Better than any server I've ever had. They know what I want every time whether its the amazing specials or the day to day don. Maybe it's because I go in there at least three times a week... but as they say every effect starts with a cause. The effect of me going in there so regularly is definately not b/c the place bad... I highly recommend this establishment. Try it out! Ohh and while you're at it say hi to Mike, A Mart, and the crew

Pros: Everything, service, quality

Cons: Parking, a little pricey

I think the quality of the ingredients is what makes Tubs really stand out from the pack with their sandwiches -- it's hard to think of it as even being in the same realm of most other sandwich places in the area. They often have a busy lunch crowd, especially around 12:15-12:45 -- you can call in advance with your order, and it will be ready to go when you get there.

Pros: Quality ingredients, Huge menu, Good side items

Cons: Parking

Tubs has awesome sandwiches. Super duper tasty! Parking is often difficult, though, and if you go to order in person, be prepared to wait for a while. I would definitely recommend calling your order in first.

Pros: VERY tasty, Reasonably priced

Cons: , Parking can be hard

I like Tub's Subs so much better than Quizno's! It's why I've been going to this place for years. I remember when the Lake City location was pretty small. It's nice to see they've grown over the years. Order the Greek - it's my fav. We need a location on the Eastside.

Pros: Yum!

Cons: Location

Tubs subs are delicious...it's a little hard to find and parking is not convenient at all. But when you taste their subs you'll never be the same. They were toasting subs long before Quizno's and they use real sauces on their sandwiches. Try the Joker or the Firecracker for a tasty treat!!

Pros: Delicious Subs, Good Serving Size, Variety

Cons: Parking, Location, Ambience
