I've come here with my pets for 4 years (2 cats and a dog). The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and they treat your pet as if it is their own. The only negative is the fact that you can't make appointments, drop-in only, so you can have no wait time or you may wait several hours. unless you can come early in the morning I would avoid coming in on a Saturday (if you can). Rainier Vet also has affordable boarding services too (but I haven't used them yet). All of my pets have received great care from routine shots to surgeries from cat fights. The prices are about half of what I've paid at other places and the service is better at Rainier Vet then any of the higher-end vets I've been to. Some people might be put off by the decor or the old-school 70's vibe, but I don't go to a vet for the decor. Also, Dr. Heino, Dr. Kung, and Dr. K are all extremely helpful and knowledgeable, especially Dr. Heino, he always goes into detail on how to care for my pets and how to keep them happy and healthy.

Pros: service, care, price

Cons: drop in only can be a long wait
