La Costa's has pretty good food, although it isn't the best Mexican food in the area. The service has been lacking the last several times we've gone in. We left deciding not to go back. Service was slow, things were not as requested, and no one seemed to really care. Prices are high, and with bad service that just doesn't make me want to return.

Great service,courtious waiters,live Mariachi on weekends and great prices.You feel like you feel like you've been on a trip to Mazatlan or something.Heard it was started by one of the brothers of the founder of Azteca resturants.Excellent!

just GOOD Mexican food!

Nothing fancy, just good! The place has a nice, homey feel, and there are lots of regulars. The crowd is always a mixture of Latino families and locals who appreciate really good Mexican food that isn't tarted up for the gringos. The service is great, and many of the servers have been there for years. The margaritas are potent and the jukebox in the bar is full of Mexican pop tunes. But go on Friday nights before 8 pm and you'll catch a fabulous live Mariachi band!

• Cons: weekends are busy
