Magnificent & Compassionate
by ChocolateBlonde
I have been Dr. Andrews patient since 1998 and I can not imagine considering anyone else for the care of my eyes. My daughter first visited Dr. Andrews when she was only 3 years old. Not only was Dr. Andrews patient with my daughter, she made the visit entertaining. Brett is very unwearied and truthful when helping choose your frames. I recollect going in for a contact fitting and just not being able to get the hang of it. Dr. Andrews let me stay for over 1 hour trying to make it work, eventually, she kindly suggested that perhaps I was not a candidate for contacts and spent about 1 hour helping me choose eyeglass frames. Her attitude is so kind and compassionate, yet she is one smart cookie and professional. Gotta love her!!!
- Pros: Great location, great staff, Wonderful Doctor
- Cons: can't think of a single one!!!
I couldn't have been more satisfied

If you have keretaconis, she is the best when it comes to fitting for contacts after intact surgery. I can't imagine going anywhere else.
Best Eye Dr. Ever!!

Dr. Andrews is simply the BEST! She cares, listens, makes perfect assessment of your vision, and very professional. Finally, I found the lenses that work for me. My previous prescription did not reflect my correct vision that's why I couldn't see well. She changed that. Now I am a very happy camper.
Dr. Andrews is the absolute best

I came back from Europe 1 1/2 years ago with my eyes in sad shape. I had apparently damaged them on the plane ride over (NEVER wear contacts on an airplane) and spent the whole trip in ugly glasses, in incredible pain and unable to find any drops that could help me, and at times unable to open my eyes. When I came home, I went to my regular optometrist, and he could not tell me what was wrong with my eyes. I went back about 10 times in the six months following my first visit (which wasn't cheap), and in that time he could never fully explain to me what was wrong, and he was unable to offer any solution to my request to be back in contacts as soon as possible. I am a runner, and it is hard for me to run with glasses on. In addition, I became incredibly self-conscious about my appearance with the glasses. I cried every time I went to see him and he never could help. I was very close to getting laser eye surgery, as he made it seem like my problem had no solution. THANK GOD I found Dr. Andrews through citysearch. Right away, she was kind, easy to talk to and assured me she would do everything she could to get me back in contacts. She took close up pictures of my eyes and showed me the inflammation. She fully explained my problem was due to not enough moisture in my eyes and a sensitivity to chemicals and preservatives. She put me on drops that got me back to where I could wear contacts again within a month, got me in the right kind of contacts ( the one day kind so I wouldn't have to use solutions) and suggested a moisturizing drop that would not irritate my eyes. I highly recommend Dr. Andrews, especially to people who have almost given up on their eyes.
- Pros: friendly and extremely helpful, downtown location.
.: Great Optometrist :.
by yrd
What I loved about Dr. Andrews, was not only her friendly and professional demeanor, but it seemed to me she loved her work as well. She more than adequately answered all of my questions through her thorough knowledge and experience of her profession. She was also willing to go above and beyond to question any abnormalities, as well as answer all of my questions. I am not too sure about their eyeware selection, however I tend to be alot more discerning when I look for my glasses.
- Pros: Great location if you work downtown
- Cons: Metered Parking downtown
You won't regret making an appt. with Dr. Andrews

Dr. Andrews is by far the best optometrist I've ever been to. She is very knowledgable and thorough and cares not only about making your vision perfect, but also making sure your eyes are as comfortable as they can be. I've always had problems with my eyes being chronically dry and inflamed. She recommended switching contact solutions and prescribed some eye drops that have drastically improved my comfort. On my first visit, she spotted a problem with my optic nerve that no other optometrist had ever picked up on. She took the time to explain all of her findings and suspicions to me and answered all of my questions thoroughly and honestly. She also performed several additional tests. My roommate originally recommended Dr. Andrews to me and now I highly recommend Dr. Andrews to you!
- Pros: thorough, knowledgable, caring
- Cons: parking
Exceptional Care and Service

I've never had a more positive experience with an eye doctor. Dr. Andrews is extremely personable, kind, and knowledgable. Her approach to my chronic dry eyes was to actually solve the problem, instead of telling me: you have chronic dry eyes (which is what I've always been told). After the exam I wandered into the eyeglass display room and again felt completely taken care of. The staff was decisive and informative, traits that are very helpful when you're shopping for eyeglasses alone and you can't see! I've found my eye doctor and I've found my eye glass center.
- Pros: Downtown, Eyeglass Selection, Friendly
Best Eyedoctor arround

I hadn't been to the Optometrist for over a decade, but due to headaches I decided to get an eye exam. It was a very pleasent expierence.

Very happy with this clinic

I had always had trouble finding glasses I was happy with, and was uncomfortable with optometrists in general, until I discovered this shop. The eye care is professional, and curteous. Brett runs the optician side of things, and will make sure you are happy with your glasses. Nothing but good things to say.
- Pros: Professional, Curteous, Follow through
- Cons: A little expensive
I should own half the shop !
