We had a nice experience! We ordered breakfast at 12 pm which worked for us! Coffee, iced water, and my teen daughter was offered a back up iced caraffe of her soda at no charge.... (very nice) We went today July 14, 2007. Nice outdoor area--very mom in pop but with a Shari's twist... We grew bored of our neighborhood and saught out a new neighborhood to explore for breakfast....

great weekend breakfasts

We've never been for lunch or dinner (though I think the lunch options look great), but have made this a regular after-church breakfast place for us - and it appears we aren't the only ones! Seems like most folks are regulars, which said a lot to us about the place. They offer your typical stuff- eggs benedict, pancakes, waffles, hash, etc. The service has always been really good. After hearing they are top-rated for the pies, we will have to make a point to go at a more pie-appropriate hour! :)

Go for the pie but eat somewhere else!

Having heard it was great, 3 of us made the drive from Ballard this evening. We were never greeted by the hostess as she was gabbing on the phone. We were seated by someone finally, given menus and water. Then the wait was on for a waitress. That seemed to be the recurring them of the evening. We saw atleast 3 waitresses in our section which had 2 tables including ours seated with 6 patrons total. Our meals were mediocre--- crab cakes that were pasty and without much crab, the oriental seafood salad with tasteless shrimp and "lobster" with some semi-wilted lettuce, quiche lorraine which was more like a bacon pie--- all very dissapointing. But, as advertised, the pie WAS good. We all shared one piece of the Raspberry Devonshire Cream Pie and it was great.
