What users are saying:
From Tube City to cross-country skiing, this resort offers more than just slopes.

The Scene
Kids love to bump and spin down the inner-tube lanes at Tube City. The less adrenaline-oriented enjoy the skating, snowshoeing lanes and 30 kilometers of groomed cross-country trails. Parents can drop kids (aged 3 months to 12 years) off at the Kid Zone to participate in a variety of snow programs.
The Slopes
Located in the Cascade Mountain Range, Stevens has 37 major runs on more than 1,125 acres of skiable terrain. Two high-speed quads and eight other lifts will keep skiiers busy on the slopes. Fans argue that Stevens Pass may not have the best snow, but it's got a lot of it--more than 450 inches per year.

I would recommend Stevens as the best ski area overall. After using their website and the virtual tours it gave me a good idea of what to do before going. The day I went the powder was fantasic and the people working there are pretty cool too.
