Salon Zeka is Kenmore's Diamond in the Rough

I have been going to Salon Zeka to get my hair done for over a year. The service is excellent and the price can't be beat. I get an allover color and cut about every six weeks and occasionally add some highlights. I have never once been disappointed! The stylists are very friendly and really listen to what I want. My husband and two children also go to Salon Zeka and always look great.

I recently realized that the Salon also offers a full spa menu... Mani's, Pedis, Facials, Waxing and Massage.

The spa area is down stairs which takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the salon, so that you are really able to relax. I have had the Revitalight Facial treatment 3 times and my face looks fabulous, all of the little wrinkles and blemishes are gone!

Salon Zeka may look like an average salon on the outside, but they are truly a diamond in the rough. It is great to be able to totally pamper myself without having to leave my home town.

You won't go anywhere else!

I have been going to Salon Zeka for about two years now. I will separate this review out into a few sections...

Hair first - I have Nancy the owner cut my hair and Judy color it. I have complete confidence that when I sit in their chairs I will come out looking good. I don't worry ONE BIT that it will look crazy or I won't be able to style it when I'm done. I COMPLETELY TRUST THEM (I wrote that in all caps because it's true!)...

Spa services next - Shelby is fantastic! The best prices in waxing anywhere... she's professional, the spa rooms have a great mood (ambiance) they're clean and as I said before the prices can't be beat. I go every four weeks to get my brows, legs, lip and underarms waxed (try the underarm wax - you will be amazed and won't ever shave again!!!).

You will never go anywhere else! They also have a great referral program so you can get money off your visits for referring new clients...

Salon Zeka is a great value and a nice place. I couldn't say enough great things about it!

BEST SALON IN TOWN :)

I HAD BEEN SEARCHING FOR A NEW PLACE TO GET MY HAIR DONE FOR AWHILE AND SINCE I COMMUTE TO WORK VIA BOTHELL WAY AND PASS BY SALON ZEKA EVERYDAY...I DECIDED TO GIVE THEM A RING. AND BOY, THAT WAS ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS I MADE!

I WAS SCHEDULED WITH THE OWNER, NANCY AND SHE WAS FANTASTIC! SHE REALLY LISTENED TO MY NEEDS AND ASKED SPECIFIC QUESTIONS LIKE: HOW I STYLE MY HAIR EACH MORNING AND WHAT HAIR PRODUCTS AM I CURRENTLY USING...TO GET A FEEL FOR MY LIFESTYLE AND GAVE ME A CUT THAT WAS PERFECT FOR MY LOW MAINTENANCE WAYS.

SHE ALSO TOLD ME ABOUT THE SPA DOWNSTAIRS. APPARENTLY, THERE ARE TWO ROOMS DOWN THERE. ONE FOR MASSAGE AND THE OTHER FOR SKINCARE. SHE ASKED IF I HAD EVER GOTTEN MY BROWS AND LASHES TINTED..AND SINCE THE ANSWER WAS NO, I DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY SINCE MY EYEBROW HAIRS AND LASHES ARE SO LIGHT. SHELBY, THE ESTHETICIAN WAS SO SWEET AND PROFESSIONAL..QUICK TOO! SHE WAXED AND THEN TINTED MY BROWS AND BOY WAS I AMAZED AT HOW NATURAL THEY LOOKED- BEATS HAVING TO DRAW OR SHADE THEM IN EACH MORNING! AND IT REALLY DOES HELP TO FRAME MY FACE. OH AND THE TINTED LASHES- LOVE! I FIND MYSELF NOT HAVING TO EVEN USE MASCARA. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK FOR SOME FACIAL AND BODY WAXING FOR SURE!

I'VE HAD A COUPLE VISITS AT SALON ZEKA AND HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY PLEASED EACH TIME! I DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SALON TO EVERYONE LOOKING TO BE PAMPERED!! AMAZING SERVICE AT A REASONABLE PRICE, ESPECIALLY GREAT DURING THESE ECONOMIC TIMES.

Salon Zeka: Amazing Salon & Spa

I have been going to Salon Zeka for many, many years now and absolutely LOVE IT! I've lived in Kenmore for 11 yrs and no other Salon in this area comes close.

Everyone there is so nice and welcoming- it's fantastic! I've bounced around between a few different stylists there and have never once been dissatisfied! I walk out feeling GREAT with a huge smile on my face each time! All of the stylists there always keep up-to-date with the lastest hair trends and provide me with a fabulous look at a reasonable price! I can always count on the SALON ZEKA team! They are so meticulous and ask questions to ensure you get the right look for you and your lifestyle.

I get so many compliments on my hair and always tell them the same thing- go visit SALON ZEKA! The nice thing is I get $10 off my hair service for each referral- so it doesn't get any better!

And the spa downstairs is so COZY- you almost feel right at home! Not only do they do waxing, but facials too! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

Alix is the best hair stylist ever!!

Most stylists are good in only one area. The great thing about Alix is that you don't have to make two seperate appointments with two different stylists. Alix does the best colors/foils and gives the greatest cuts! So, you get it all done in one shot. :)

The best Salon in the area

I have been a client of Salon Zeka for over 13 years. Alix is the best hair colorerist I have used. She seems to be able to read my mind, even if I don't have the words. When I ask for her opinion, she is always honest, and right. Everyone at the Salon is nice, and makes you feel welcome and at home. I'am not going any where else, and would tell everyone this is the place to go.

Judy is Awesome

I've been going to Salon Zeka for over a year now and would definitely recommend it. My stylist is Judy and she is awesome! She really listens to what you want and delivers. She's also super sweet and friendly, therefore making it very hard to ever go to another stylist =)

Salon is has a nice cozy atmosphere located in Kenmore. Price is really resonable and worth it for the service.

The city of Kenmore has so much to offer and best of all it hosts the best salon...Salon Zeka. This salon has friendly staff and cozy setting that welcomes you. I've been seeing my stylist, Judy for a over a year now and she has completely transformed my look. She takes extra care of her clients by listenting to what they want and understanding their needs. Judy has given me so many stylish looks and I'm willing to try anything she suggests. She pushes the limits with what's current while at the same time making sure you're happy. Also, she can cut your hair so you can easily re-create it at home too! Salon Zeka is the place for you if you're looking for a friendly neighborhood salon, talented and friendly staff and exceptional value. You will leave with a smile on your face after each visit!

Seattle's Best Salon!

I recently moved to the Seattle area and was really worried about finding a new stylist that I could not only trust, but that I could afford! I actually used the City Search reviews to find my new Salon and Stylist. I could not be happier with Salon Zeka and my stylist, Judy. They are amazing! I first walked in the door of Salon Zeka as a girl who would pull my hair back in a pony tail 95% of the time. I did not have a real style and had no clue what to do with my hair. Judy really listened to my needs-I wanted a cute, hip style with minimal maintenance. I ended up with exactly that!

Not only is the personnel great at Salon Zeka, but the atmosphere is cozy and personal. Everyone is always friendly and you feel genuinely appreciated as a customer. In the words of another reviewer, Salon Zeka really is a "hidden gem." I would highly recommend everyone Salon Zeka to anyone who is looking for a new salon and stylist or anyone who is ready to make a style change for the better!
